Chat from the end of yesterday, Beullens unhappy about the sprint, offline the whole stage, comes on shortly before the finish today. That bolded, then the insult to Narren, then what I said that set him off, then his insult to me.
Since he is clearly intent on leaving and burning the house down on the way, best way to deal with somebody like that is a ban IMO. (Temporary ok too)

Sorry but this is ridiculous. The Fairplay comment is not to be tolerated. Downplaying it as quoting lyrics is laughable. Making that vote as a reaction to the thread is even worse. A cool down phase will hopefully help you seeing it clearer.

I hope you come back after your ban even so you already said you want to take a break i hope after a short break you come back.

I actually didnt remember you this aggressive maybe you should try out another time to ride if the afternoon bothers you to much.

Somehow seems a bit harsh. The 500k plus the temporary ban? Can the FPC tell us the thinking behind it, or does that stay internal?

Personally I think the ban is justified not because of the insults, but because of the strong general "I leave, I don't give a shit about anything anymore, you can't hurt me with fines, I'll do whatever I want now" vibe Beullens has been giving for the last days. Readable in the chat above too. That's why IMO the slight first insult reported here IMO would have been enough to consider a temporary ban. Insult plus implication that he sees no reason to hold back in his revenge vs the game (not sure why actually)

The insults themselves, at first was positively surprised at some creativity in the fairplay comment, but well, it's just a copy&paste job, I'm unimpressed. Also I think I'm immortal, so no dying. Even if at 250 maybe life won't be that much fun anymore, but well, let's see how it goes until then. The fine AND the ban seems a bit much still though, fine for insults ok, ban for the "burn down the house"-danger ok. A "one click and your banned" and let him ride Okinawa until he misbehaves would have to be fine too. IMO here the implied threat to continue going on a rampage is the bigger problem than the insults.

I think the temporary ban is appropriate. The penalty, at least the amount, not so much.

The problem for me is not the ban & fine in this situation but that more toxic guys are getting away with everything. I don't want to blame the people in the FPC but it's a problem of community management aka complete failure.
