Design: Who wants to do it? Happy to do it, but of course I don't want to jump the queue. Even easier if somebody else does it, and I only need to criticize^^ Poke perhaps like last year? Did it well back then I believe.

Times: 10-14-19-21-23 ? To mix it up after overall good participation in Giro? 22h was fantastic, but feels like 19-21-23 could make it more equally distributed. Maybe we can reach participation of 13-13-13 instead of 10-10-19 then... Anyway can have that discussion in calendar thread if you prefer.

Points Classification: Numbers for the stages and IS easy to find: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Points_cl ... _de_France. Please do it, luques!

Mountain Classification:

Would be nice to have the official points as well (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountains ... _of_points).

Points for stage finishes (simply 2x normal points)
HC 40-30-24-20-16-12-8-4-2
1C 20-16-12-8-4-2
2C 10-6-4-2


Bonus Seconds: Ok, now comes the really tricky part:
It was an innovation on the last Tour de France: bonus-point sprints will be reintroduced in 2019. Bonus seconds will be awarded at the top of the 8 following hills or mountains at key places of the course:

Stage 3: côte de Mutigny
Stage 6: col des Chevrères
Stage 8: côte de la Jaillière
Stage 9: côte de Saint-Just
Stage 12: Hourquette d’Ancizan
Stage 15: Mur de Péguère
Stage 18: col du Galibier
Stage 19: col de l’Iseran

It will have no influence on the points classification. The winner of each bonus sprint will now receive eight seconds, the runner-up five seconds, and the third-place finisher two seconds, instead of three, two, and one second, respectively, in place last year.
Luques, if you can introduce that as well, would be more than fantastic.

Oh, and no matter, how much you can do before Le Tour, would be helpful to have a news announcement on RSF official points before the start.

I'm in to design the belgian stages of the Tour (so stage 1-2), maybe the third too!

Ok, I will let that expertise to you, especially with cobbles involved :)

So when I start, I start with stage 4. But I will wait a bit if other designers want to do it and if ASO still makes some changes to the route.

You can do tdf19-xx and xx for the stage number, for example.

So we have four designers (gaurain, poke, olmania, gipfel). That should be more than enough! Happy to leave the time advantage to the three of you, but I will help as needed and double-check stuff. It's just so I can use the time for FPC and perhaps collecting ideas for Andes 2019 already :)

Even more important would be luques, to look at sprint points, mountain points and bonus seconds. Would be great to have the real stuff in C4F.

Ok, more info on the official website... I start designing stage 1-3!

Stage 1 : Done imo... Last km a 3 even if it could be a 2 also... Cobble sector also a **/** finally, looks quite ok with it
For Muur and Bosberg, I'll take the ratings of this year Rvv! It will be a bit problematic for the mountain sprint unfortunately!

Stage 2 : Team Time trial in Brussels ... I know those roads (mainly by car or running, never biked there, too dangerous), big Boulevard but still, I have the feeling I did it a bit less steep than it really is, so will still think about it but you got the main idea... Flat Team Time Trial, but not 0 flat!

Hard to critcise Things that are not as obvious if we don't have the exact profile Details or the beginnings for the min tact. Anyway, I will post here my preferred min tacts for the stages:

Stage 01: Km 174
Stage 02: Km 1
Stage 03: Km 174 (when the hills start after Reims)
Stage 04: Km 196
Stage 05: Km 136
Stage 06: Km 140 (or whenever the climb to km 142 starts)
Stage 07: 10 km before the finish line
Stage 08: Km 189
Stage 09: Km 155 (or whenever the climb to km 158 starts)
Stage 10: 10 km before the finish line
Stage 11: no idea without the profile Details, but I'd say around 20 km to the finish line
Stage 12: when the second climb starts
Stage 13: Km 1
Stage 14: Km 86
Stage 15: when the climb to km 146 starts
Stage 16: when that last hill
Stage 17: when the climb to km 192 starts
Stage 18: when the last climb starts to the Col du Gabalier
Stage 19: when the climb to km 89 starts
Stage 20: when the last climb starts
Stage 21: 10 km before the finish line

Time bonifications at the end of stage 10" 6" 4", the usual standard. If a l'équipe article from April is correct.

No idea where to find such stuff on their own site, it's a mess.

No idea either if the intermediate sprints give bonifications. Gipfel mentioned the rest in the first post I think.

No bonus seconds at normal IS, only at special IS, which luques probably does not implement :(

So it will be very sad to leave out of these 8-5-2 seconds as compared to real race :(

I don't see a way to add time boni to that mountains.It would have been possible if that mountains were all (for example ) HC.

Same thing can be said for doubling mountain points at mountain finishes.
