A question about the Giro10 :
the weather.
No Moutain Weather ? Ok, May. But for example, today it's snowing in the south of the France, ok it's not each year. But the stages 19 & 20 can have a moutain weather I think. ;)

edit : about the stage of l'Aquila : 157' ... erf, really long, a boring day I think.

Spring fits I think. Nowadays RSF manages to adjust the weather according to the altitude, so if it's "spring" and let's say 15 degrees at 0, it will be much cooler on the mountains. Ok, maybe change "south sprint" to "south spring" though

That won't shock me if we have a cold weather for stage 20. All the stage up to 1000m. 4summits up to 2200m ...
As you like, but for me stage 20 is with a cold weather. They will have snow near the road, sure, and maybe in the sky (like today in France, but here, in the valleys, and not only at 2000m+ ^^).

15 degrees at 0m means 5 at 2000 and lower above. And as it can be colder down there, we will probably have a race that reaches 0°. And that is ok. As we have coincidence in the weather, it shall not be the goal to get every race to 0, that will not fit the chance of cold weather in realitiy. It is also possible temperatures won't drop under 10 at the summits in the real race. So let that be possible in RSF, too. I am with Roby, i think it fits well.

All the special stuf done?

Jerseys:

rosa
green (mountain)
red (grrrrr, points)
white (not grey, it's really white) youth

Same bonification on all stages except TT and TTT

For the first 3

20"
12"
8"

At the intermediate sprints:

6"
4"
2"

That's the things that were changed last year I think. That normally we could/should get again.

What a shame, the jersey for the best climber was very nice.

Yes, I know. But in RSF we had that black number as a little gimmick last year. That was nice. And i felt honoured to carry it away.

In fact we got it because it was introduced back into the Giro as a black number instead of a black jersey in 09. Or maybe even in 08, not sure anymore. Since RCS still hasn't been able to post a regolamento that I can find for 2010 I just assume that they will have the "numero nero" again this year.

Oh, Buhmann, just realized it now, you must have made a mistake. The maglia bianca, which means white jersey somehow isn't white but grey!

Well guysn where were the cobblestones on Montecalcino???

I've seen some on tv in the last kilometers but nowhere else. Ask the "Afrikans people" (no racist conotation here or anything else like that) if they're road (which really looks like the one of saturday) are made with cobblestones ?

Maybe Evans, Cunego, Vinokourov, Arroyo, Gadret, Scarponi... must prepare Paris-Roubaix next year :P

Maybe they can beat Stijneke?!

Finally, i agree with this. But it's a big change i think. It need a new skill, or a new combination. Maybe we can make it in the same time with a new skill for "bordures" (split the peloton in the hard wind)?
