TDF 2011

Post by olmania » Tue May 31, 2011 5:57 pm

I create a new topic, to have all the profiles in the first post, easy to find for people who want to have some news about the Tour. I will post the stages when I've done the work. For now, the mintackt is not good, I will change it later (if I don't forget).
Critics are welcome if it's argumented, I still can improve my profiles. I started early, to have time to adapt the necessary changes.

So :

Image
2/1/5/4 for the Mont des Alouettes
Image
TTT all flat
Image
Some 2/3/4% in the last 20kms, but stage is all flat. Max 5% for the climb of St Nazaire Bridge.
Image
10/4% for the Mur de Bretagne
Image
Flat !
Image
Flat (last 6% is km195), but 5/4/0 for the 3last kms, this should be nervous, but a ms is likely (for strong sprinters only ?) !
Image
Flat ! For sprinters ! A long stages, only few 5%.
Image
Last 1800m really difficult to adapt on RSF ! a first part (300m) at 3-4%, then really steep part 12-14% for 600m, then 2-3% for 300-400m, and last steep part 6-8% to the line. I did 8-6% on RSF. Maybe a bit too steep, but I don't know how to do it better !
Image
Last km = 7%
Image
last 7% in the last 4cat, then 4% and 5% before the finish line. Not easy for sprinters I guess.
Image
For sprinters, short are "easy to control", with only few 5%.
Image
Big stage of the Pyrennees, perhaps a bit boring on RSF because this is the first day in the mountrains. Should be good for reg climbers !
Image
HC classification even if there are 15kms of flat at the end. Dangerous stage for gk leaders, could be a trap ...
Image
HC ! Classic !
Image
Flat ? :D
Image
Interesting last hill ! Climbers vs strong guys !
Image
Last hill/downhill will be nervous !
Image
Welcome to the hell ! In fact, this should be more interesting IRL than in RSF. We'll see !
Image
Short and crazy !
Image
Long ITT, but the climbers should ride it well :)
Image
Last sprint, if some sprinters and their teams are still there :p

welcome to hell?

it's a joke of a stage OL.... agnel and izoard wasted for the great lautaret and a few harder galibier kms. that's where all will happen in real life.

but ok, what i wanted to ask... mintact, done? you said you might forget it...
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

I will try to check all the mintackt tomorrow and tuesday. But this should be all right. Some stages will be short, don't be afraid :p
And, yes, Agnel and Izoard are wasted, but the stage is still the most difficult ! Ride it IRL and then try to walk the day after :D
