New year is coming soon, so it looks the good time to internationalize the project. Frenchies and Donkeys people already know the concept, so let explain it for others guys.
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4663 (Pescheux french part)

The Pescheux's Factory want to become a place where all designers -experienced or beginner- can confront their races in a designing competition.
For that, each week, we will propose you a different theme with somes restrictions to respect for the design. During you will be able to announce the race about that theme you prefer. Leso didn't know that till now, but if the Factory works well, the race which win each theme will be add in the fantasy calendar :).
If you have an idea for a theme compet', send it by PM at NicoVanarlo (World Wildlife) or ask us directly here if we can add it for the next week.

Here a list of useful tools for the ddesign :

I think I explain the most important, so improve your drawing skills, enjoy the competition, have fun, and become the Pesceux of tomorrow !
The next theme arrive soon !

A wheel in the sand

Dubai Tour, Tour of Qatar, Tour of Oman...Year after year, the Arabian Peninsula take a bigger place in the modern cyclism. A lot of riders starts their season on Qatar, Dubai or Oman, where the weather is nice. Morehever, arabian organizer want to profit of the programmation of World Championships in Qatar for 2016 to create some new races, but one day races this time, to implant them in the Asian Calendar, before, maybe, to join the World Tour Calendar.

Create 2 or 3 races with this conditions :
- Races should take place in the Arabian Peninsula (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Jordan)
- Only one race per country.
- Races should do between 180 and 220 kms.
- At least one race shouldn't have a flat profil, with at least one difficulty in the 50 last kms.

You have one week till next sunday, good luck !

1. GP Hannover - Bielefeld : most fitting for a classic WT race.
2. Deutschlandtour 2016: good tour, but there are some details missing / wrong.
3. Dresden -Altenberg : doesn't look good but might end up being an interesting race, i would advice to use 1500 max altitude or something.

Anyway. Today UCI confirm that Innsbruck will be the place of the road World Championship in 2018. It is nice but now it is the time to work on the next edition !

The subject is simple, here the restrictions :
- There is 4 races to draw, road and TT Elite, road and TT U23.
- The road Elite race should be longer than 220 km but less long than 280 km. The u23 road race between 140 and 180km.
- The Elite TT should make between 40 and 70 km, the u23 TT between 25 and 40 km.
- Qatar, Norway and Austria are forbidden places.
- Loops can't do less long than 15 km.

So the WM-Races, well...
I decided for Greece, Chalkidiki, Sithonia and the beautiful Porto Carras Grand Resort as venue.
TTs will start in the Resort going along the coast with a lot of up and down, finishing at the Helipad of the Resort. Elite rides the circuit from km2-27 twice, then also finish at the Helipad.
Whereas the Road Races will start in the village of Neos Marmaras, then going to a slightly different circuit around Porto Carras (other direction, used two other small routes in the hilly part). Circuit is repeated 8 times (U23) and 13 times (Elite). The finishline will be in front of the hotels, on the seaside.
