Propose your fantasy tours for this winter !

We still don't know how we organize one day winter classic, but at least let's see if we can propose some competition for the fantasy tours of this winter.
We will probably require :

Later a vote will be organised, one vote per tour lenght. You can propose the tours you want, but think that we will select just 1 tour of 7days and 3 of 4 or 5days !

Don't forget that it will be happening in winter time, so if you can avoid a race in Finland or in the Alps ... riders might appreciate it !
Also don't forget that we will already have 2 fantasy full pavé tours in October and January + the usual Andes, December and January 2 weeks tour.

Little tour 3 days in Guyane, December to February is the small rainy season. temperatures between 26 ° and 33 °. No particular difficulties, except the weather that goes to lose not bad of energy.

A few points about your tours:
- Take into account that those tours are supposed to be done in winter. Going above 3000m in Colorado won't be possible on a bike (even way below 3000m already) and C4F would always have 0° during the whole race.
- Your America tour would involve lots of long transfers making it unrealistic, unless you have a rest day ( = travel day) after each stage. Although C4F is not real life (sad, but true), we usually still try to keep it realistic.
- If your Africa tour stage 1 involves a circuit, you seem to be going lower each lap. You can display the calculated altitudes in the race editor. Use them to see where you might have gone wrong.
- Stages 2 and 4 are both labeled with the same title, so I guess one of them should have been different?

But anyway, continue designing! What you're experiencing here is called a steep learning curve.

Peloponnese Tour

Mountainous tour, 4 days and 5 stages

Stage 1 : Middle Mountain


Stage 2 : Mountain HC

last hill is 6% average, with an 10 and 8 km as steepest kms.

Stage 3 : Flat

cat 2 hill is 5/7/8/8/7/6/3, no more km steeper than 5% then.

Stage 4a : Flat

cat 3 is 3/8/7/2
cat 4 is 5/5, no steeper km than 4% until the end

Stage 4b : TT

Hilly TT (hill is 2/3/5/8/4)

Stage 5 : Mountain HC

Last hill is 7,4% average, lot of 7 or 8%, with 1 11% in it, last 2 kms less hard (4/3%)

Weather is good in Peloponnese, even in winter, can be anywhere in the off season calendar

Lebanon Tour

700kms in 4 stages

4days : 2x Hilly stage, 1x HC, 1x Flat

20 categorized climbs =

1 intermediate sprint per stage.

This tour is going around Lebanon, but tries to stay not too far from the seaside to catch the sun and the good temperatures ! Only the last stage might be a bit cold because of altitude, but if no bad luck, nothing too cold for the riders ! Near the sea, temperature could easily be around 20 degrees !
There is not time trial here, and it seems to be a good one for a climber, but strong classics might have a good chance as well with some opportunities for them to take time on the climbers !

A hilly stage to start the tour ! A flat part along the sea during the first 100kms with one important climb (cat3) and two small ones (uncategorized) where sieb are possible. Then the race gets into the land and meets some hills, with 2 nices climbs in the last 25kms, the race will be nervous and can be open ! Last climb has two steep kms at the bottom (9%-6%) before being more flatish (3-5%), last 3kms are -2/0/4%.

A sprinters stage with many short climbs in the first part, not making it easy for the sprinters if some teams decide to sieb them early. Then, it's all flat along the sea, except 3 short climbs with a possible sieb every time. But at the end, if sprinter teams are a bit organized, a massive sprint should happen in Batroun ! That stage is the longest of the tour !

The king's stage of that short tour. It starts hard from the beginning with a steep climb to Jrane and some more shorter ones following before going back to the sea front for 30kms of flat to the North. Then, the big stuff starts ! 2 short but steep climbs to warm up, where we will see siebs , and why not moves. To finish the final mountain, in 2 parts : a long valley with some steep parts to Tourza before a short downhill and a final part of 10kms at 7% ! Whent he summit is passed, a 18kms downhill is left for the riders to the small Lake of Bnachii, but 6kms before the line, a last steep ramp (8%) is found for one km !

The last stage, is a trap one ! Short stage in the mountains, without valley, except the flatish end !
It starts with a 35kms climb, without a regular gradient but that might cause some trouble early in the race. It give the only climb classified as 1st category in this Lebanese tour ! The last climb of the tour is also 35kms but divided in 4 parts, giving categorized climbs, selection and moves can come from anywhere, but that last mountain will be stressful for the team of the leader in GC as the ones who lost time the day before will try something here for sure !


Boriken Tour

Boriken is the name of Puerto Rico island in Indigenious Taino name. It means : Land of the Valiant Lord !

The race starts in the morning with a 21kms long TT in the center of the capital city. The TT starts with a short hill, not so steep (4%) but it will give the first climber's jersey and ends with a light pavé km in old town, the rest is rolling. Strong TT guy will take the leader's jersey here !

A 25kms circuit in the capital to do 4 times in the afternoon. No difficulty, some 2-3% parts, no more. A massive sprint is expected even if some surprises might happen because of the energy spent in the early TT !

160kms staying in the North of the island but avoiding the seafront to go a bit in the land. Caguiana climb (3kms at 7.5%) will make the difference between the strong riders, then, the end is not totally rolling because of some short hills before the downhill valley finish back to the seaside in Arecibo. Yellow jersey could change here !

From the North to the South of the Island through the West coast. A sprinter's stage of that tour, the last two short hills could see some attacks, but sprinters won't be dropped here (4%).

Probably the King's stage of this Boriken tour ! Climbs are always somehow short, but often with very steep kms (>10%). Race might be really open before final climb. Last km is a -10 %, pure downhill finish ! Leader will probably change again here, and GK will be more clear after that stage !

A new HC stage, in the mountain of the South of the island. Classic one with summit arrival. Flat start, some hills then, but nothing crazy and a long climb, really regular on it's first part, before getting less regular with 2 flatish parts cut by a steep part (max 10%). Last chance to make GK move, and last chance for climbers who failed the day before to take a stage win !

A flat stage to finish that tour. From the South to the North of the island, but visiting the East Coast for the first time ! 2 categorized climbs in the middle of the race, climbers could bere dropped there and loose quite lots of time, but if sprinter teams organize themselves, they have a long way to come back, and organize MS ! Early breakaway could also have its chance here !


A 7 days tour in Honduras finally.

Its a tour in the pacific sea.

Stage 1

The first stage is in Vanuatu (the flags on stage editor are wrong by Vanuatu)
Its a medium race with 2mountains of 2cat and 1 on off 4cat

Stage 2

The second stage is a stage on the Salomons Islands (Flags are wrong again)
It's the hardest stage off the tour.

Stage 3

The thirth stage is a ITT in Nauru. The ITT is 17 km

Stage 4

The fourth stage is a flat stage on Palau. A resting day for the favos.

Stage 5

This stage is the shortest stage of the tour but with at the end lot off paves, its a hard stage in Kiribati.

Stage 6

The last stage is a TTT in American Samoa off 39km.

180 kilometers between Pointe-à-Pitre and Point-à-Pitre, no difficulty, sprinterteams will probably easily control for a massive sprint.
