Re: Luques Races
01/07:
02/07: Fantasy Race
Sprinter race, well a sprinter nightmare. The first 120kms are up and down all the time, with various possibilities to sieb on the Edge Hill but also in Buxton. Then the road flattens a bit, giving to the fast guys a chance to come back. A +5% at -7km to the end may mix things up again. Stage open to various possibilities.
03/07: Stafford GP
04/07 - 05/07: Minsk GP
06/07: Fantasy Race
Another race for sprinters! Easy? The length may be a problem and trains may be weak arriving to Troyes. A good attack can be succesful here.

JACO - QUEPOS 2014 EDITION
Start City: Jaco
Arrival City: Quepos
TRACK:
LAST HILL:
JACO - QUEPOS 2015 EDITION
The 2015 track brings some major changes to the route. No more hilly parts at the end will move the balance towards classic riders. Difficult for sprinters but maybe some hill sprinters may survive too.

I like these 2 !
Re: Luques Races
After some time, Luques comes back with a totally flat race in Tanzania.
Better than nothing still!
The race takes his name from the starting place, the OUT (Open University of Tanzania).
A circuit of 15kms repeated for 10 times, 3 intermediates (1 each 3 laps) and 15kms of min-tact to adjust the last settings for the sprint.
Race starts from Kawawa Rd aside the University, that's the street https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipN2atjfbwN ... _U7W=w1850 , crashes possible due to the separation in the middle.
Few hundreds meters and we turn right into Ali Hassan Mwinyi Rd, that's the street https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipP0kuV53FC ... _gD-=w1850 , and if you live in that buildings you can probably appreciate this panorama https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipMADjE4taX ... OBvA=w1850 .
Don't worry we are going near the sea!
We continue through this street and finally see the sea on our left, you can appreciate that while crossing the Selandar Bridge ( https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipPcloRF_na ... 46bY=w1850 ).
Bridge is over, now we are starting to return to the starting point, leaving the sea behind, giving a fast look to the Golf Course (https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipPz31W2YCL ... g8dB=w1850).
Finally now turning into Bibi Titi Mohamed Street, always straight at the Institute of Technology cross, we reach the Uhuru Monument ( https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipMoTY4Mbxi ... 3Pd9=w1850 ), an obelisk with a replica of the Uhuru Torch mounted at its top. The Uhuru Torch is a national symbol of Tanzania and symbolizes freedom and light.
Now going on into Nikrumah Road ( https://lh5.ggpht.com/p/AF1QipNSR0Aph42 ... in1c=w1850 (yes there is a PizzaHut there!)) and turning right into Kigogo Road and straight into Mpiji Street. Then we have to go straight just few hundred meters to find ourselves into the long Kawawa Road and close the loop!
Most interesting part is surely the central part of the circuit, going near the sea!
Have fun and prepare your sprinters!

Re: Luques Races
A new race in Canada! Probably not the best place as winter is coming, but I am sure that the inhabitants of this small village will make everybody feel warm and at home!
Nakusp Classic
Nakusp is the name of this small canadian village located on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake.
Having both the lake river and mountains with lot of forests, this place is quite perfect to relax in the middle of the nature.
What I am talking about? Well, this thing basically https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/11 ... 7171363346
The race - Well, it is a circuit, 14kms repeated for ten times, 3 GPM points. There are not sieb kms, the maximum for RSF is a +5%. This makes the race a bit difficult for sprinters and suitable for classics and also attacks.
The most difficult part will be, without any doubt, the uphill of the km 8, a 5% media but with steep percentages at the beginning. If an attack is succesful here at the last lap, will be really difficult to catch it considering the long downhill.
That's the profile of the hill (probably even deserved a +6, but considering we repeat the circuit 10 times, thought the +5 effect was enough):
The Circuit - We start from the Chamber of Commerce of Nakusp (a really pictoresque place http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QuXCF ... h306-k-no/ ) on the 6 Avenue NW going North and leaving the lake behind.
A few hundreds meter and the road now is Canyon Road going around the Nakusp Secondary School. We follow the street until we reach an ESSO station (https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/10 ... 4089770114) and a big cross where we have to turn right into the BC-6.
Go on on BC-6 and at km 4.5/5 we find the Centennial Golf Course of Nakusp, just on the summit of the first hill, where we plan to have the guys of the team giving water and food!
About 800m more and we turn right into Brouse Loop Road, here it is a short downhill/flat part that will lead to the most difficult hill of the day to enter Billings Road and then the downhill through the Crescent Bay Road to turn right again into the BC-6.
Now we have the lake at our left, this should be the panorama https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/10 ... 8852335618, with Nakusp in sight.
At this point just follow the road and enter in Nakusp until you reach the cross with the 6 Avenue NW, turn right and there's the finish line!
Organizers here are so excited that are already planning a 2019 version!
