Finish the monday ? Why not from 02.12-15.12 ?

I agree with leso. Starting on the 3rd would put the rest day on Sunday.

Another vote for the January tour? Why not. Not really because the voting was suspicion, just because it's clearer then. And, then both designers would have to say in advance which stage(s) they cut from their tours. Because of the Pavé Tour, followed by the Tour Down Under the January tour has to be shorter.
According to the FL preview there are just 11 days available. But Sherlock Ape found a few more, they were hiding.
1 possible extra day: Start the first, not my favorite option.
1-2 possible extra days: The Tour down Under starts on the 21st not the 19th as FL writes.(the 19th there is the stupid "classic" that is just a criterium). San Luis starts on the 19th it seems. So... the Pavé tour can end on the 18th for sure. 19+20 recovery for Down Under. San Luis then no recovery, but not being Pro Tour is not a problem IMO. Finish the 19th? For Down Under still ok. Overlap with San Luis... ok too somehow I think. That would mean: Pavé tour starts either the 14th or the 15th, which would make the January tour 12 or 13 days long. from the 2nd to the 13th or the 14th. Last year the January tour was 12 days long... So maybe make that the standard? Or don't know.

So: First we need leso to tell us what he thinks about the dates. 11-12-13-14 days long? 14 would be possible too, start the first, finish the 14th, 15th-19th pavé.
Then the cutting of the tours and a short vote for the the January tour. I clearly hope for Venezuela btw!

And a proposal for the vote next year:
1. Stop calling the first round "Stichwahl".
2. Give more than one vote per user in the first round. Make it depending on the number of tours presented. This year 11. And similar tours take votes from each other, so in the end it's the "extremes" that pass the first round. This year IMO 3 votes per user in the first round would have been ok. Around 1/4th of the tours in the running.
3. No vote changing in the 2nd round! If more than one vote given in the first round, maybe cut it there too? But ok, leave it in the first round if you want, but no vote changing in the second round is better I think.

As for starting dates of the Sulawesi thing: Don't care:) Afternoon there, all ok

- Leso's option has the rest day on Monday
- Your alternative has the rest day on Sunday
Typically, rest days would be during the week. Although in Sulawesi, Sunday should anyway be a regular working day as well

January Calendar (excluding cat 2.2 races) opens with La Tropicale Amissa Bongo from 13.01 to 19.01 cat 2.1 (UCI Africa Tour) same as San Luis.
