Winter season 2015-16 - Winter Fantasy Tours: propose them!

As last year, let's your imagination draw the fantasy tours we will ride this winter !

To accompany Sachsen Pavé, Andes, December Tour, X-mas Tour, January Tour and Tour des Pavés, we need two 4-days tours, four 5-days tours and two 6-days tours to complete the calendar. You can design 1 tour per category!

Don't forget that it will be happening in winter time, so if you can avoid a race in Finland or in the Alps ... riders might appreciate it !
Also don't forget that we will already have 2 fantasy full pavé tours in October and January + the usual Andes, December and January 2 weeks tour.

You can propose us tours you designed in the past and that were not already ridden. No need of 100% new design.
Give us details about your stages and your reflexion in the design.

In that topic, try to have only one post you edit little by little when uploading your tours. Only presentations about tours here, no discussion. Go there if questions or discussion for now : viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4649

Stage 1 : 207 km (middle)



Last hill is 5/1/4/3/4/3/1/6/2/0/4/4, with a doble 6% for the first cat 4 and 1 7% for the second one.

Stage 2 : 178 km (flat)



Typical flat stage, last km is 1%

Stage 3 : 209 km (middle)



cat 3 is 4/5/1/3/5/6/6/5 with a lot of 1/2% before

finish is +1 and 5% 5 km before finish

3 big hills, 8/8/9% finish for Mount Kekes

Very hard stage, lumpy start, then from km 110 the hell starts !
we have first a 4/7***** (barackvirag utca at the nord of Szentendre, 500m at 10% in really with very hard pavé)

then Szentendre pavé 2 times (3****/-1****/-1***)

then 2 hills, last 2 km of cat 3 is 8/9
the cat 2 is 6/5/6/3/8/6

then back to the north of Szentendre for the 2nd round of pavés, and light hilly finish (1/2/1 the 3 last kms).

Stage 6 : 152 km (hilly pavé)



Easier stage than the previous one, but still tough

cat 3 is 5/7/9/3

Quite mountainous tour, stage 4 is queen stage, but stage 5 and 6 can destroy the classifications of climbers, I think it will be an very interesting tour

Presentation of the 2nd edition of the Tour of Tasmania.
Stage 1,3, 4 is winnable for a sprinter. Stage 2 and 6, is a valley rider. Stage 5, can be won by a climber.
Tour that can perfectly take place in December or January. Tasmanian Summer extends from December to February.

The first 2 stages will be for the sprinters. The 3rd stage has an inlet for pure climber. The 4th stage is against an individual time trial hill. Stage 5 has a very long hill but with reasonable percentages. He will wear riders.

Hard rain + cold + pavé can be very interesting
Average max temperature in November is +8°C (+16 in october and +4 in december)

I propose for the winter season, a really hard Tour in Cape Verde
4 days in Cape Verde , but 5 stages

I suggest for this very hard Tour : teams with only 5 riders
1 leader and 4 helpers with maximum 70 mountain

I suggest too, only one schedule for this Tour ( maybe 21h, (9 pm )
I think , it will be nice to see the best climbers of the world fighting in the same Tour.
We can have 40 teams with 5 riders.

You can think it is a crazy idea, and react to tell me i am a stupid guy

Hello today I present you my 6-days fantasy tour in Croatia.

Our first day we pass Istria and finish in Rijeka.


Last 5 km: -1 , 3 , 4 , 2, 0

The second day we start in Rijeka and ride to Senj. Arrived in Senj we pass an local parcours with a climb as major difficulty.


Last 10 km: 10 , 8 , 8 , 8 , 8 , 6 , 3 , 0 , -3, 2

Third stage we ride away from the coast, I expect a battle between sprinterteams and the teams of classics with a good sprint.


Last siebkm: km 176 (6%)

Fourth stage gets us closer to Zagreb. This stage reminds me of Classica San Sebastian somehow but a bit easier.


Last 5 k are completely flat but we have at km 170 11%,

And here is the queenstage, I tried to give the teams an parcours where war can be made around the Medvednica.


Last hill : 4 , 2** , 2** , 4** , 5** , 7**

I gave the riders an easy time in the beginning of the last stage. Hopefully the riders are fit again for the last part of the stage.

We can ride it all over the calender its always around 10°


frist stage is a flat stage for the sprinters


second stage is a middle mountain stage. The last 2 km are 6,3


the third stage is the hardest one. The final km is at 4


last stage is an other flat stage

My 5-daytour is The Kaukasus Tour
We cannot ride it in january but in octobre - decembre we can


first stage is TT


The second stage is easy in the beginning but hard at the end


The hardest stage of the tour. Almost nothing is flat
