anybody can compete here...just design your tour according the "rules" and present it when the presentation thread is opened...

max. 1 day with half-races.

Design Time :

then i think you should work one in... since leso seems to have decided to have one... hope he forgets the saturday part though.

the ape now has to finalize his tour.. basically done since over a year, but... need a better 'no rest day' version. and the 1 rest day version maybe needs some reworking too.. mmhh... i go now.

I hope I have the time to come up with a tour as well. The concept (tracking, etc.) is finished, only the creating work is still lacking. Not easy for lazy FL :geek:
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

I just realised I need a little clarification there. Do the max 14 days include the rest day? It says 10-14 days with rest day, so I'm not sure if it's max 14 stages plus a rest day or 14 days with a rest already included in there.

SM

Yes, save your tour in the online editor.

Then in October or so post it with a presentation in the forum... will be in one thread, like this one here
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=902

Normally that thread starts in October, no real need to make it earlier, even better not to make it earlier. But you can save the tour already now of course, no problem.

Well for me its the same like FL - Concept is standing ... drawing is not even started.

But a question: Is it allowed to use 1 (or maybe 2 dont really know now) from the tour I designed and presented last year but which was not finished and so also not competing?

Should be no problem at all. Even if the tour had competed I think it would be no problem. You present your tour, and the voters decide.. if they mind that some stages are the same presented a year ago, then don't vote for it, but think most people won't care

Okay thanks very much ;) As i am on holidays now it has anyway some days time ... but just thinking very much of using last years "king stage" again in a slightly modified way and another flatter stage it would fit very well into the tour ... same finish and same start for the stages are there anyway so why dont use the stages again i considered as good :) we will see ...

After the disastrous failure of my Yunnan Tour in 2009 I've been very desperate about 2010. (Besides I had no time at all.) But for the competition of 2011 I told myself: "Don't despair! Just do it!"
I already finished the concept and even the drawing is done. So now I'm just working on the details. We have to talk to the mayors, to the police, to riders, to managers, to our sponsors... everybody has some ideas to improve the tour. Maybe some routes need to be changed. And of course everybody expects a nice presentation of the tour. But, to come to the point:

I just want to announce, that Gipfel will take part in this years' competition. Please don't expect too much ;)

1 stage missing to design. But will be an easy one. So my tour is practically ready. Only the presentation left.

But i hate the rest-day. Where should i add this day. And with a rest day my tour will be 15 days. Ok?

Brr, i can't delete one stage. So if i really have to cut it to 14 days (rest day included) please tell me. Then i have to make a half-stage somewhere. Otherwise there will be delelted a flat stage and as you can imagine this would be bad for the tour. I like the mountain stages this time much more than of my last year's tour.
Best solution would be to make the rest day optional, but not needed. Leso??

But to say "one rest day is OK" is also not a clear statement. If 1 is ok, 0 is also ok? Or 1 rest day is a must have? Thats why i wanted a clear statement so that i can end my tour.
