How it looks with the WC-Races ?
Is it clear if there is only one Edition with a jersey or 4 editions without?
See final PDF. Idea is 1 edition at 15h with a jersey.

Here is the profile

Image

Crow Road +7 +6 +5 +1 +4

Circuit... very difficult to design. Constant up and down but tiny hills. Key climbs are 300m @5.9%, 200m @4.8% and 200m %6.0%..... So all ends up 2-3% in C4F.

Full circuit is

0 +3 -2 -1 -1 +1 +2 -2 +2 -2 +2 -2 +2 -3 +3 -2

Last km -2 because they come down from Montrose Street (34m) to the Finish Line (11m). But actually it is some 1.2km between the top and the finish. So I guess last 500m not really downhill in terms of possible sprint finish... but since we have not dedicated % for the sprint in C4F... -2 seems correct.

bergwerk is only interested in the ITT:

here the race is on the 11th at 21h with jersey and side program race at other times.

Last km +5 rest pretty flat (no orange up, some -4ish downhill)

The race planned for 31 August, Trier - Traben - Trabach has the pavé - GPM bug/feature when you have the GPM at the same km as pavé. Despite the pavé is shown in the profile picture, it doesn't show up in the detailed profile. Just if the designer (Schappy) wants to change that (f.e. put the GPM one km later than the pavé).

Yep, thanks. Donkey already mentioned it in the calender chat, I will ask Schappy to change that (probably the GPM on the km after the hilly pave).

Depending on the profile of the Belgian Waffle Ride Utah I might just put in one pave race on the 22. With Monaco having 1 hard pave sieb close to the end and Azore Cup having some ** in the middle as well it might be enough for August. What are your opinions?

I only see the race on 22 August, the Grolloo Cycling Cup as a "real" pavé race so far.

There are races with some pavé that could favour teams with that speciality, f.e. the GP Marseille (not Monaco ;) ). But I would not count them as pavé races.

The Azore Cup is a race with pavé, but not a pavé race. These pavé parts will only prevent some teams from brining their climbers, at most. Otherswise the impact of the pavé parts in this race may be neglected. Il Giro al Tolmezzo has some 0* right before the finish, but I don't think they will have a big impact on the result. Graz-Maribor-Zagreb has some pavé too, but only * and totally neglectable. Even the Schappy race on the 31 isn't really a pavé race (don't see the sort of pavé though...). Belgian Waffle Race Utah I don't know.

So I think the pavé race on 22 August makes totally sense.

I agree that races with pavé and pavé races are different. But in Marseille the pave value is very important as well (counts as 1/3 pave race). Belgian Waffle Ride Utah is very hilly dirt road (is it? I am no expert) which in-game might be a medium pave race. Never talked about canceling the 22.08 pave race Grolloo Cycling Cup but was thinking about the Trier - Traben-Trabach race that was originally planned on the 31st. It has +6** on the laps and is now corrected. I will decide it when I know the profiles of the real races in that week. But thanks for your input

according to the roadbook same amount of points for every stage.

jersey colors:

mountain points:
Changed all stages to 'hilly' and added custom jersey colors.

Otherwise profiles are final @Schartner? Then you can press the "Start Review" Button on every Profile. Afterwards, I will publish the race.

Benelux Tour 2023
"really really extriiiemlie flat" my role model Jens Voigt(best rider ever) would say :D

some sprints called "Super 8" 1-2-3
other Sprints "Green Sprint" 1-2-3 ... always 3 km in a row, I always did it with a km in between ... otherwise it can't be read in the rsf profile. I'll have to find out what "super 8" and "green" sprints mean when I have more time.
must there be paves somewhere too? no right?

Sorry guys, but I think I have to change a bit. IS and Kom's are very different on flammerouge as in original tour website?
there are no differences in sprint, so no super 8 and green sprint - but a lot of Kom's? could that be?

I am doing changes for stage 3 because there are cobbles and steeper hills as it seems.
Maybe we do the IS as normal in rsf and this lot of Kom's if you want?
Please tell me, dont have much time next weeks to change!

Thanks for updating. A stage like Aalter - Geraardsbergen is a lot of work ;) Just for the future, or if someone else wants to optimize it, the Geraardsbergen stage could still be improved. For example sometimes you start the climb to the Muur below Sea Level and sometimes above. Then sometimes you have a downhill after the Muur, sometimes not. Not ideal. But acceptable for me for the moment as the Muur itself is 8**** and I know it's lots of work getting every km right there.

On the KOMs, I am not 100% sure if everything they call a "climb" on the website is really a KOM but should be fine like this as they have not even published their roadbook until now...

Light gravel race. Designed with same rules as Strade Bianche and most other gravel races. 3km is * and if a sector is longer becomes **.

There's a bit of a concentration of pavé/gravel at the end of the month, whereas we had very little before... but that's just UCI calendar.

Now all one day races finished for August. We just need to finish Vuelta now. I will only have time for that after the long weekend. If schappy can do it, excellent. If not, I help afterwards.

I started the third week. I can leave Stages 15&16 for Tremblade if he wants to try. But I suggest you first try designing fantasy races to get used to it.
