Calendar:

1-24 July: Tour de FRance. Times: 10-14-19-22, so the 4 times that didn't have the Giro.

Complaints and adjustements as usual possible... but 19-22 to me looks very very likely. Very close between that and 18-21 for the Giro, so here should be the other one.

Morning and afternoon less fix probably, but at first let's propose the non-Giro times

Rest of the calendar:

Parallel to the Tour:
16.07. Slag om Norg, cat 2
18.07. GP Cerami cat 2

After the Tour:
25.07, Clasica de Ordizia, cat 2
30.07. Clasica de San Sebastian, cat 5 times 9-15-18-21 and Tour de Pologne, cat 3, times.... 10-14-19-22? But unsure if we want 4 with San Sebastian parallel... and if it's good to have mostly the same times as the Tour.
31.07. Circuito de Getxo cat 2

Opinions about times (TdF) and number of editions (Poland) and anything else?

I really only put it at 10 to make sure the morning keeps reading... 9 big favorite now.

Tour de France design will be done tomorrow.

Will be put online in 48 hours or so, so after tomorrow around 17h CEST. Still time for checking. Link to the thread in the first post.
Times will be 9-14-19-22

Rest nothing done yet.

TdF done.

See the thread in the link posted in the first post here.

Will put it online in roughly 22 hours I guess.

So criticism fast please! Check for mistakes, wrong categories etc etc.

One complaint in the general chat: (which I like to ignore generally, post it here, I'm not going to check for comments in the chat and scrolllllllll forever, this time I saw it, not much time, so ok

RS Coesitz(17:24): Seems like the pavé stage at the TdF is drawn the hardest possible. No good decision in my eyes.

Well, why? How to do it then?
Arguments for as it is now:
1) Precedent, we've done it the same way in the past when there was pavé at the TdF.
2) It's a pavé stage, not some random pavé for 500 meters in cities (which then IMO can be ignored, even 500 meter of horrible pavé at 80 km from the end should be ignored, because in reality it's highly unlikely anything will happen) Here the stage in reality is there to have things happen. Generally less will happen than here I guess, but some riders with crashes, flat tires will lose time too.

Arguments for softer ones:
1) In reality while crashes and flat tires will make some riders lose time, many will arrive grouped. And the differences compared to mountains will be bigger for us. A decently ridden mountain finish with only action at the end will not give that much time to a 87 climber vs a 83 one at c4f. While in reality the differences will be bigger there, time lost in a pavé crash much easier to get back in the mountains, even in just one, if you're the strongest in reality. Not here.

But for the moment it will stay as it is, also because Gipfel will show up soon and demand that it stays like it is.... or harder maybe, don't know...
More convincing arguments, by as many people as possible, and something can change. Arguments=IN THE FORUM.

Rest of the month, nothing done yet. Only Pologne on in La Flamme rouge. If somebody feels like it... go for it.

Poland will be 10-14-19-22 after all, don't really like it, but nothing else was written and changing at such short notice not good, probably 3 editions with San SEbastian would have been enough, but hopefully we have 350 active players by then, so no problem.

Denver - Wheeler Lake is a 195km ITT, surely that can't be correct

Indeed, indeed!

Thanks!

Now the question is how to change it... since the the big problem a while ago seems to have impacted the changing stuff tool too.

Hi,

Except Poland which will be on 30th July, will we have a tour to ride if we skip the tdf?

If not, why? Due to the lack of players or lack of tours?

Slag om Norg was in grey (so can't see it) on la flamme rouge until a while ago, now disappeared completely, probably cancelled? So we'll ride the same version as the last time we rode it.

Ordizia and San SEbastian to me look exactly the same as 21, so on too.

Missing Getxo/Otxoa, in grey at la flamme rouge, so can't check yet.

And Poland still needs to be designed. If nobody else feels like doing it, Donkey will start later this week, but will be friday at the earliest.

And August calendar will be opened either in a very short time or tomorrow, that will need designing too. Thank Bear-Gala-Hansa and Lenny for their effort over the last weeks, without them the August calendar would look very meager.

Started Poland

Stage 1, flat, no siebkm, the GPM is at 5%, last km 1%.

Image

Stage 2, the 2 GPMs are 5 and 4%, no other difficulties. Finish at 1% again
Image

Will continue Monday, very likely no time Sunday. Anybody else wants to continue, welcome of course. Name of Tour "Pologne 22". Saved under pologne22_01 etc.

No volunteers, so I unhappily continue, stage 3-5 at least today. If more will edit this post...

Flat until km 200, then 3 short steep climbs.
Image

Stage 4: Up and down the whole day, many sieb km.
Image

Stage 5: Classified as "plain" on la flamme rouge. Don't have the time to check stuff like that on the Tour de Pologne page, so plain it is. Even if it's hilly the whole day, last sieb km a 9% at km 191 (of 203)
Image

Stage 6+7 remain to be done. Good chances I'll try today after my race and the real TdF, so around 17h-18h CEST.

Pologne done and online.

Everything online except the 1 day race on the 31st, Circuito de Getxo, not available yet on la flamme rouge.

Check for mistakes as usual.

Bornholm looks weird, i designed it as a flat regular race but it is shown as hilly ITT with the profile of the Trollstigen Hillclimb i also designed

See one of the first posts of the month, usually the second one.

Yes, a real race, Getxo, last time I checked profile for this year couldn't be found yet, maybe now there... will check some other time, but hope it's the same as 2021 etc. anyway. Will come on when confirmed.
