Was the Andra Pradesh tour ever ridden ?
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... &start=275
If needed, one stage can be cut to make it 4 days. It fits good to the description of a tour for sprinters. Some stages can be challenging and we could see different kind of sprinters fighting against each other.

Don't think it has been ridden!
Might be a possibility, if not for that spot, maybe one for the late tour OR the early tour, if we don't want to cut a day. The early tour which I completely forgot to include in the preview of the preview above. Will edit....
For the Andes parallel would prefer 5+4, not 5+5... so that one day races suffer even minimally less... I fear they might have low participation...

Not a fan of the first tour. Shouldn't it be a cat2 Lanzarote on 02.11 and GPB 03.11 and an Andes mountain classic 05.11? why make it with fewer participants.

So no early Tour you say? Could work too.

Sent Luques the proposal, hope is online soon. If not, a short but incomplete overview here, so comments can start before the PDF is online:
Almost everything open to change:
Right now the c4f classics are with their 2020 categories, that might still change depending on participation in this thread:
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 29#p108129
Without an early tour now, good point by Dickson.
Andes start 07.11. Times 9-14-18-21
Parallel tours:
Sprint de los Andes 09.11., Monday to Friday:
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 75#p107978
Andhra Pradesh: 19.11 to 23.11. Kept at 5 days.
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 75#p103959
Times: 10-16-22 & 10-19-22. Not ideal, twice the same times... but depending on the Andes as well. But generally I think the morning has been pretty strong lately, deserves both tours? And 11 is always unpopular in the forum ,so twice 10. Twice 22... last tour at 20? Seems early.
Late tour after the Andes:
Nigeria: 25.11, 5 days
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 17#p107622
Classics on the 2/3/5/6 before the Andes, then 15/17/18 during the Andes. Only 3, ideally more, but since they get 2 parallel tours... cut with the classics. After the Andes 24 and 30. Times can be criticed once the preview is on...
For the second parallel tour really liked Rabat too. It has as TT, which is somewhat missing otherwise, a tour with an individual TT would be nice parallel to the Andes.
http://www.radsportfreaks.de/RSFForum/v ... 17#p107755
2 sprints, 1 TT, 1 sprint/hill sprint/classic sprint and 1 classic stage. IMO would fit well too.
Then Andhra Pradesh would move to the Nigeria spot. Any preferences?
And Nigeria could be parallel to the Dec tour or otherwise in December. Unless Taka wins the Dec tour, than I might rethink that and drop it to keep it for next year
Other tours I found are Chile, Galacticos, look for it yourself, but doesn't fit in parallel with the Andes, too hilly. But can be something for later.
And Persia, Cycle Circle or whatever his difficult name is, CC, but that looks too hilly as well to be run parallel. And then in late November it's snowing there I guess.
I'll delete the ramblings in the first post now, so when Luques posts the link it's easy to find it...

Is the design of the Andes already available? If yes where can I see the profiles?

I don't like Nigeria, after the Andes. Would much prefer Andhra Pradesh there instead. And Rabat, or
Carolina? parallel to Andes.

+1 and Roby also said a tour with itt parallel to Andes would be nice too so Nigeria Rabat or Carolina all fit there as mostly Sprinter tour with ITT and Andhra Pradesh which imo is much less a sprinter tour would fit better later
btw here is the Right link to Andhra Pradesh.:

Rabat now parallel to the Andes
Andhra Pradesh after.
At least that's the update I sent Luques.
Carolina... would have had chance as a 4 day tour, as a 5 day something slightly more interesting much better...

While we wait for the Luques PDF... times etc all ok or big problems?
Andes: 9-14-18-21
Sprint Andes: 10-16-22
Rabat: 10-19-22
(The last too might be the other way around, too lazy to check)

I'd prefer Andes at 22h but just out of personal preference. No other reason

I'll start putting races on on Wednesday afternoon. 14-15h...
Corrections, proposals until then.. Times (for the moment I'll stick with 21 over 22, simply because only 1 comment is a bit too few, I always assume that no comment means support for the proposal), dates and number of stage races parallel too. The fear is a bit that 2 parallel races might be too many, but if all are alright with that, as it seems, we'll stick to that.

A bit late this comment but now that I see the nice Andes profiles and you ask for it:
Yes, I think parallel programme is too attractive with 2x 5-day tours. The designer usually puts a lot of detailed work into Andes and then people opt for parallel tours because they can generate more money sometimes (small peloton, easy, cheap sprint races). That would be a bit sad. Good thing is cat1 brings less money than cat3 but still, I'd prefer to see only 1 parallel tour or at least shorter parallel tours (3-4 days).... Just checked last year's numbers. We had only one parallel tour (6-days) and it had more participants than Andes (26 teams vs. 24 teams), so putting two parallel tours looks indeed a bit dangerous for Andes participation.
Yes, I'd also prefer 19h-22h combination for Andes instead of 18h-21h (like Gala) but it's only a feeling that 19h is more popular than 18h and 22h more popular than 21h... but better don't base decisions on my feelings... so I will be O.K. with 18h-21h combination of course! More important would be to make parallel programme less attractive. We need teams who ride Andes!

Or think to the teams who don't want to ride Andes because it doesn't fit to their line ups?

I think two editions only for the parallel tours could make sense.

I don't think that. Parallel tours will influence one day race participation but not Andes. Andes stay a tour specialized on mountain, really long, really hard. It isn't all team that can assume to ride Andes during 2 weeks, having 6 riders out of the tour after 3 stages and having -150k per days else if it is nothing after all.
3 3 3 for tours seems ok so

Started putting stuff online, no changes to the PDF except San Francisco Classic now as cat 3, not 2. Rest should be same as the PDF.
If anybody spots mistakes..... mention them somewhere, fast.

The ITT on the 27th is shown as a 2 day stage race when you click to see details!

Thanks...
Actually I didn't put that on. After I finished uploading for today 2 races showed up, Bariloche on the 7th and ITT on the 27th.
No idea why, so after deleting Bariloche on the 7th left the ITT for the moment, maybe it helps Luques figure out how it came online.... But will delete it tomorrow if he hasn't shown up until then.

Mr. X or Bug X struck again.
3 races deleted, 16th (tomorrow) 21st and ?? A TT late in the month.
Race tomorrow is online again. So those that were already inscribed: Inscribe again.
Entirely possible that other stuff changed as well. We have a funny bug or a funny saboteur around.
