Tour of Slovakia

For stage 2 with a mintact at km160 the race will be 126minutes~ long, isn't that too much for an unimportant race?

If other stages have a less long mintakt. I think that's ok that the kings stage have is longer, especially that it's over 200kms.

Still, it's a 46 km mintact for the tour of Slovakia. With lots of flat kms in the end... So I would suggest to do it a bit later before the last hill, but that's just my opinion.

Slightly over 2 hoirs is fine if not all these stages are that long.

Fast!

Any comments about the times? I remember that long time ago when I sent the proposal to Luques I wasn't really happy with the times, but don't remember why...

for Britain we will use last year's edition? this year's race is cancelled apparently and the stages for 2021 shouldn't be online soon enough?

Perhaps Britain can be postponed by one day or so? Why?

1.) We don't really have the numbers for two large parallel tours currently. Look at Deutschland Tour.
2.) Vuelta parallel programme would become too attractive vs Vuelta. Doesn't hurt for this year as Vuelta has started but in the long run.
3.) Britain is not taking place, so it's fantasy anyway again.
4.) It's even more fantasy as we don't have the profiles I think?
5.) Otherwise teams from Vuelta (apparently stage race teams) have not many days of racing in stage races in September.

I know it will hurt the Canadian classics... but if you want to protect them, better have no Britain and instead a small tour at the end of September.

Benfica: Depends on where they ride it, so far everything seems ??? Martigny still possible, but maybe somewhere else, we'll just take the real parcours, wherever that will turn out to be.

Taka: Britain: If ridden, yes 2019. Profiles already made, so no need to work there.

Gipfel: Britain: One day later: No thank you. Still opposed to those perfect lines.... after Vuelta Britain, blah, we already did that with Dauphiné, grrrr, one more no thanks.
Cancel: Actually that would be my favorite option. I actually didn't remember that it was that long... thought 6 days? 8, blah, what are those brits thinking? But the main problem is:
Denmark or Deutschland, then BinckBank and then there's Britain that starts before the Vuelta finishes too (I think at least) Cancelled as well, but has chances to be in I would say.
Hm, much less definite than I remembered it, good man this Donkey.... thought I had basically promised Britain. But well, just good chances, so no, not the main problem! No promise, can be cancelled.
Main problem now is that we're rather late and as usual people will start whining around the 29th.. I give them till the 27th (maybe 28th...) to say yes/no to Britain. I'm clearly for no at this point.
Or down to 2 editions, like last year?(Deutschland bad participation last year too, with 2 editions)

So Donkey opinion.
1 cancel
2 2 editions only
3 like proposed
4 one day late

Cancel though IMO needs a bigger majority than now: (2-0 it seems, or 1,5-0, you and me,) More opinions needed. And I'm pretty sure at least one guy will want Britain to stay in.. (the notorious small tour dominator)

Tour in late September, there is none in old or new calendar, so............... WC week is normal calendar break as usual. Was thinking about reproposing Bourgogne there, fantasy race, but last time I did nobody wanted that, so..... did it now anyway.

But yep, people participating here needed, seriously participating, not whining in the chat and creating new math, like Hansa for example. So just a friendly warning to him, if you just show up to troll, claiming 28 is less than 22 or something similarly retarded, your post will be moved.

Keep it in down to 2 editions imo.
Even so i would like to ride im also against postponing it. There are enough other races to ride.

14-20? After Deutschland 22 participation maybe 20 better? Adjusting classics then.

Cancel and instead a small tour end of September. Bourgogne or whatever is ok if it's 3-5 days and not too extreme profiles. Put it before World Championships but end 2 days before it (so each rider can have Reg before World Championships start)

Not really an additional opinion to create a majority but at least you have your 2-0 majority now (Hansa proposing 2 times but can't ride the tour himself does not count anti canceling ;) )

It's not like I can ride it either... or you, just checked  Would be 0-0 then... But well, think we need more than 2-0 anyway.

Not sure it's 100% accurate, almost no details on the website, had to do with a poor map only.

Most real stuff online.

Pantani, Toscana+Antwerp I'll need to check if the parcours changed, since those races will be ridden in reality. Possibly tomorrow, possibly after the month change.

Toscana+Antwerpen no route found yet, so wait.

Tour du Doubs not in the preview, as Luques said, he's to blame for stuff like that, added it anyway.

With the World Championship and Duo Normand on, no fantasy TT of course.
Pavé: We're running out of flat pavé fantasy races with no downhill (-1 and -2 ok if I remember correctly, more not) pavé in Europe.. .yes yes, some are easily correctable... designers can correct them themselves then. Or design new ones.
Hilly ones we're still more or less ok.

Anyway, 8th and 22nd the 2 pavé races.

Had missed Sabatini in the Sept preview, seems neither cancelled nor moved, original dates, easiest to miss this year somehow.

Small change, simply 2 circuits now, before was 3, (first one only once)
Image

Antwerpen on too:

We had the 2018 version in 2019 too. 2018 is 18 or so km longer than 2019+2020, so cut a bit here and there, all rather unprofessionally, cut it down to 196 km, still 6-7 too long but more or less ok. Pavé circuits seem really the same, and since copying Gaurains pavé from 2018 to this 2020 too annoying, much easier to cut a bit randomly early (where it is indeed shorter) and the very end (different finish too). Somewhere in the circuit probably a small difference, so too long, but don't care.
