There's also San Luis which starts one day earlier than Down under.

Tour des Pavé should be 5 days, MON to FRI usually, or, if thats not possible, from TUE to SAT. Do be able to do that, the Tour of Northeas India could start on SAT 2 January.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Mosca already prepared a 5 day pavé tour, which looked good. Other alternatives:
- extend pave tour to Sunday and move DU Classic to Monday, it's only a 50km race anyway
- extend pave tour to Sunday and leave DU Classic where it is
- move NE India by one day as FL proposed and extend pave tour to Sunday - it would actually be helpful to have a 1-day tour break between NE India and Pave

I like blasphemy ;)

DU Classic not a problem, parallel or not.
Paves with 5 days OK too.
I meant Northeast India better from 3.1, if some people come back from new year holiday but if more temas mean it is better from 2nd. january ... Ok too.
We have 2 weeks to decide.

3\4 tour for climber and 4* is a pavé tour.
If Mexico wouldn't win dicember would be 2 months of all tours for climbers. A bit boring for teams that not only buy a climber and hope good train to win.
Time to buy a climber and become a passive sucker, classic teams doesn't work anymore.

Could we please have less stages for classics?
It's a scientifically proven fact that 97% of classic teams are just suckers. Unable to control a race, unable to read a race. But they get an inordinate amount of stage wins, just look at the numbers, right now the active guy with most win is a classic. Too many races for the sucker type.

If you do this, tell it early enough so that I can find a sitter for the 2nd of January as I won't be able to attend the race that day!

If we dont ride at the same time i can sit you. And maybe you can sit me on the weekend ;)

In general I have loved the TdP to be during workdays only. If the current solution fits better for everybody, so be it.
