I'll do the Ruta del Sol. Might take some time.. .but certainly finished before the end of the month.

For the Calendar in general: Don't forget Oman 15-20, Haut Var 19+20 and Sardegna 22-26. Sardegna will probably come online fairly late as usual, still, let's try to keep a place for it. (when announcing the times for parallel things like Ruta del Sol for example)

Oman+Haut Var makes the national championships on the 19th (Laigueglia too then) difficult. Maybe easier to put it on the 13th and advance méditerranéen by one day?

If you want to use "Boucles du Sud Ardèche", for the 27th, this is the same profile than last year.
What about Algarve ?
What is this race ? http://www.stervanzwolle.nl/index.php?o ... &Itemid=96 With cobbles ?

Don't know. Is it even a 1.2? Looking at the start list it appears more like an amateur race or so. Could be a good race for our friends from the lower divisions.

I've just checked
Don't see any cobbles, but it has been upgraded to 1.2 this year. No pro team announced, skill-shimano was allowed to ride but they won't since it's the same day as het nieuwsblad.
It's not really worth a discussion imo...

Whats with the one-day-races? Etruschi seems to be a bit shorter than the 2010 version?

All these Mallorca races?

Laigueglia seems to be as the 2010 version again.

Laigueglia changes a little bit, the end, I can do that after I finish Oman, since I still have the 2010 file only changing the end (resp parts of the end) shouldn't take too much time.

Qatar profile always very short before race start. But therefor they are quickly designed with the editor.

Hmm would be enough to know how long each stage is. I think it will always be 0%. I read somewhere that they have a very short prologue this time.

Oman done, will put stage 3-6 on tomorrow, need my beauty sleep now. How does OL manage to get new style profiles but RKL not? Grr

Weather: West Continent Europe summer. probably closest, but too much rain... Desert too hot, Summer South Europe a bit too hot too

Attention LESO: GPMs not there, sometimes the 2 sites, Tour of Oman and TdF show different things, so some stuff might change. But no clue when.

Image
165 Km, which is 7 too many, but the difference get's bigger at each point mentioned on the site... no clue where the goal is, after looking for it for a while decided I didn't give a shit and just went straigth 6,5 Km from the last mentioned place. We'll miss a +1 somewhere like that probably, very sorry.
mintact 135
flat stage (in realit top 10 get points at the end of every stage, 10" boni, but seeing medium mountain after such stages is just too ugly)

Image

Hardest stage to design, a complete mess...
170 Km. Should be 139... according to the TdF site. 150 according to the Oman site. But then the parcours in the OMan site is shorter on the map...
climb: Almost can't be that road, but it's the only one there, has to be that one. ON the TdF site, there is the GPM sign right next to the sprint sign on top of the climb, but according in the rules of the TdF site there is no mention of a GPM competition. Plus the GPM sign is only to be found on the route page, not profile or the time table...no GPM for the moment, will check again. Strange +5 9 Km from the end, SRTM readings actually say it's a +10, but it's near a Wadi where the readings are fairly unreliable... google earth and SRTM show a hole before the climb too, so downgraded to a 6-7 at least, pics on google earth show a climb, that didn't look too steep. Klebt made a 5. Could be a 6. Could be a 4. No clue really.

mintact 140
flat stage

rest tomorrow..

Image

211 Km (too long as well...)
flat
1' tact 180

Image

159 Km (only 2 too much)
HC
1'tact 128

Pff, if it was a RCS and not an ASO race they would do the whole climb up to 2000 meters, not stop after 6 km. Pff.
Here again, GPM mystery. GPM in Route and time table, not in profile. And still no mention of a jersey or a GPM classification in the rules. Might change..

Image

19 Km (500) basically 9 Km one direction, back plus 500 meters
TT
1' tact km 1

Funny TT.... flattest km are +5/-5.
GPM problem, 2 GPMs, this time they appear everywhere. But the competition still doesn't exist?

Image

160 Km (3 too long..)
flat
1'tact 130
GPM at km 12 according to the route, profile, time table, but same problem as usual.

Some things might change, GPMs exist or not? Plus better info might change the final circuit of stage 6 (ok, not much, took the most logic roughly 7 km lap), maybe the climb on stage 2 (but has to be that I think..)

Oman should be cat 2 btw. Started at cat 1 for us last year, but it's exactly as (un)important as Qatar. = Cat 1

Tours not designed yet:

6-11 Qatar: Seems to be on, from the third of the page that loaded...: http://www.letour.fr/indexTQA_us.html
16-20 Algarve: Online. http://www.voltaalgarve.com/?page_id=22
19-20 Tour du Haut Var no clue if it's on or not, since that page never loads in China anyway...
22-26 Giro di Sardegna: Not on yet, in the last 2 years came on 1 week or 10 days before the race.

Last year we rode all of them, probably for the time planning for leso would be useful if the designers tell him what they plan to design....
I start: the ape won't design another tour for february.

NC: Still think the 13. is the best option. Only Tour méd needs to be changed, and can be changed, without overlapping with something it shouldn't in reality. 5th/6th, Bessèges and Qatar, basically doesn't work, 19th/20th is even worse.. 26/27th is Het Volk.

Rest from Mallorca Challenge seems to be the self like last year.

Mumbai Cyclothon is UCI 1.1. There are teams like Lampre, Katusha, Liquigas, Vacansoleil, Shack. So should not be cat 1 like any fantasy race?
