I checked on T4B and the problem seems to be that he ended the stage ~3 kms to early... (155 irl)

WTF ?
When i draw it, these details weren't here !
But are you really sure ? Because Feuillu won again today. I'm not sure that he's able to win in that kind of finish ...

ok, inthe clip you see only the last few hnudred meters. But seems quite uphilly there. At least no downhill...

But de rien, OL. Thank you for drawing hundreds of races, real and fantasy. You're allowed to make mistakes like that then and when.

New Het Nieuwsblad. Version 2011 obviously.
Saved as hetvolk11
Saved from zauberlehrlinges account since it refused to accept my beautiful password (leavehautvarswhereitisandcutonehetvolkversion) Maybe too long?

Details see this thread viewtopic.php?f=15&t=67&start=25

Mintact at 136, so long mintact, design it yourself if you want a different one. Start at the Kruisberg, from there until Km 185 there's never more than 5 Km between a Helling or a Kasseienpart. I'm cool now and use those strange dutch/flandrien words too.

Next: Last attempt:

Haut Var: I believe it's wrong, very wrong, to change the date to the 25th. Leave it at 19th-20th. But ok, unless you officially change it back to the 19th today, in all previews etc. it will be too late, Oman starting tomorrow, Oman starters should know if they can ride Haut Var too (no no no no) or not (yes yes yes yes!)

Het Volk: 5 editions WAY too many. Same song as usual. Short version: Roby is right.
The long version is: Saturday, more flexibility. Classic, so important race, important to get strong groups together. So for Cat 4 classics on the weekend, 4 editions is enough. Always. On weekdays, less flexibility, depending on the parallel stage races, it's not as clear, there 5 could be ok. Sat/Sun? No. Here in the case of Het Volk definetly 4 because: parallel Sardegna AND probably now Haut Var (bad idea leso!) as well. We get 5 weaker groups, without really giving more people the chance to participate. 10-15-18-22 should work. We can expect a 1 hour flexibility for 21+23 on weekends. And their groups even combined are not necessarily stronger than the afternoon on saturdays.

the flexibility pretension is not allways right. I am more flexible during the week, for example. At weekends, it happens much more often that I am limited to 23 or later than during the week.

Ok, I correct myself again, like I wrote in the first post about that topic:
Het Volk/Nieuoeuiowsblablablad: 5 editions: Too much.1) It's a saturday, most people are more flexible. 4 is enough.
Most people, then I'm convinced it's true. If there is such a high demand for the late evening, that ONLY can ride there, ok, make something like 19-23 in the evening. Or rotate it a bit, sometimes 18-22, sometimes 19-23, same with the morning, sometimes 10, sometimes 11, on saturdays 9 less, it's usually not that well visited. Now need to demand rotation in the afternoon though, although in some cases it was the most popular time it's happily rotated from 13-17, both outside the afternoon time. Adapt, or don't ride, if it's good enough for the afternoon, it's good enough for the other times too. But make it 4 editions, especially if you progamm 2 parallel tours. 1 day races a certain flexibility HAS to be expected anyway. I rather have strong groups in 9 classics and can't ride nr 10 than 10 with weaker groups.

So there is a difference, I rather like to ride all 10, most of them in competitive fields and some few in weaker ones, than missing one of them.

Lugano cat 1, should be cat 2, it's on the correct date as well, so no reason to downgrade it to 1
