Why is Arakan cut down to 11 stages?

Can’t we just use all of them Tours? I like these long tours and the work is already done…
The idea behind 8+12 for example…flockmastoR wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 9:17 pmAbout the starting times:
If there are enough managers that would start at a specific time it can be discussed. A bit late now for January. Better to discuss it when the calendar draft is published. 8 is not too weird could be set sometimes. 12/13 are more exotic but happens that some stage races get such spots as well (as 17:00).
About the tours:
Limited spots for fantasy stage races even less for long ones+its part of the competition that just the stage races with most votes are raced.
Generally, I try to switch times around, and I do not rule out 8 or 12/13. It's just a bit challenging with the current number of players where 4 editions is the maximum sensible for a tour. With more active players, we could have it more often.
Good spot. Let's change it before we publish it. (Unless Alk/AAD worked on the pavé calculations again, which I don't think right now.)Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:53 amVlaamse Duinencross and the final stage of Arakan Tour have downhill pavé that could be problematic. Are there plans to change that?
Trofeo Alcudia, right? Yes, let's use the event tag to track the History, but give it the new name Trofeo Ses Salines-Felanitx for the race in 2024.lennylenny wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 10:36 pmgot 4 of the 5 Mallorca Challege races complete, last one doesn't match the name and region of Mallorca as the only remaining one of the series like it was the years before, but is clearly the replacement for it
do i use the old race event for this one and just rename it?
yup, will doGipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:01 pmTrofeo Alcudia, right? You'll have to show that the morning is the time with most active teams. The simple claim doesn't make it so.drei.zehn wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 10:35 pmThe idea behind 8+12 for example…flockmastoR wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 9:17 pmAbout the starting times:

Maybe this way we could have 2 starting times where we took some advantage of the „active time zone“
As far as we know morning is most active when proposed at 9 and 10. 8 might be a problem for some conflicting with their working hours as well as 12 is with lunch break. For stage races with longer stages (Andes, GTs) most morning teams preferred 9h over 10 and we shifted a lot to 9h. But find enough guys to start at 8 there will be no problem to move a bigger tour there toodrei.zehn wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 10:35 pmThe idea behind 8+12 for example…flockmastoR wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 9:17 pmAbout the starting times:

It’s just a feeling that I got in the half year now since I come back, that the morning time is the most popular time. Didn’t made any statistics or somethingflockmastoR wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 12:08 pmAs far as we know morning is most active when proposed at 9 and 10. 8 might be a problem for some conflicting with their working hours as well as 12 is with lunch break. Final stage and stage in between had one -3* too. Changed arakanGipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 10:58 pmGood spot. Let's change it before we publish it. Ok as it is just a short lap, I redesigned it myself. With uploading the gpx file I have issues as well. So I just designed the circuit without gpx file. Not sure what is causing the problem thoughflockmastoR wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 12:36 pmHaving problems recovering Boucles de Wallis et Futuna, profile can be found at 10.01.2022.
Other Winter classics races already published for January and some fantasy one day races as well
