I'm inclined to prefer 6% because the flat-power has more importance, which is also the case for the real race on such a climb. But that's all I know.

That's a good point. I didn't think about that. Problem with 6% is that we will have 30-rider-groups to sprint for the victory. Don't if everyone think thats a problem.

Personally I would keep the profile as close as possible to reality. It is unfortunate that our classics riders and climbers differ so much from real life riders (no impact of the length of climb, huge flat differences), but this is no reason to chance profiles. If there is a climb at the end and in the RSF physics this favours the climbers, than let the climbers win. If you want something different discuss about changing the physics and not the profiles.

The current situation (on 6-2 or 6-1) that the climbers gain time and than get caught from classics riders is definitely not what we see in reality.

Auxi, can you change the % in the summit arrivals on Giro Del Trentino

Stage 3:
http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/ph ... 6_460s.jpg
Should be : 6/12/17/17/17/16/14/7/3/-14/2 (not many differences, but the 14/18 part is wrong imo on your design; the last 2500m could be different than what I propose).

Stage4:
km169 is 5% and km176 is 6%

I also could discussed your interpretation on stage2 ... but I am bored. (and look at this : http://www.climbbybike.com/profile.asp? ... ainID=2922 even if you have to adapt it because of the km in downhill after the town, the profile is different than the one you made).
Anyway, thanks for the work, this message was only here to tell you to be meticulous when you have really accurate informations about the profiles and the climbs like here, on the Giro Del Trentino ;)

Can we please see the result of Amstel of former years? They are not available on the calendar of April 2011... I'm quite unsure we gets that often a bunch sprint of 30 guys.

+... I highly disagree with Radunion.

Just a Question:

Isn't it possible to create S-Intermediates on -X km?

Because on Romandie the official S are always like 4 km earlier - while/at the end of downhill-parts.
And on the stages at forum it's always after some flat km, almost on +X.

I'm newbie, just curious about it :P

I had some problems with 2 stages. The stages were shorter when I designed it compared to the roadbook, that's why there are few differences.
If you want me to change the SI position, tell me where. But I don't think this will change the race thing on RSF ;)

It's just my feeling of the last time I was riding AGR. ZL's climber won in a sprint, and there were at least 20 riders in this group.

I just realized it's 6-2 again. I'm fine with that because it doesn't influence the form settings. But for next year we should discuss that again because 7-2 or whatever are good possibilities as well. And i would like to know why its 6-2 again.

Cool, thanks... I hope I wasn't too agressive. Was just scared... Anyway, mintakt should be kept as you did... 208. Wouldn't be nice to change the lenght of the race the evening before it ^^

Thanks for your work and sorry for the mess!
