Good job !
Stage 7, little problem with the final circuit in Barcelona I guess.
What is the % of the Montjuic climb? because I did it this winter, if you take it in the hardest way, this is 2500m really steep and short !

The Montjuic is not on the final circuit, it's passed only once just before the final circuit, and listed as 1.3km at 4.8%, when drawing I was inconclusife if 5 3 or 4 4 and choose 4 4 as percentages. I'll try to draw again, and look, if perhaps the mountain prize is not on the top, as happened with some climbs.

Yeah, I guess it's not the heaviest way to do the Montjuic, there are 400m, where it's 10%, but over 1km it evens out, on the backside, which is not driven in this version, you have 23% portions.

On stages 7 and 2 the circuit seems to be lower and lower, you are probably losing 10m at every lap ;)
Not very important anyway.

Tirreno: They seem to have changed the end somehow... when I drew it I'm convinced it was exactly the same as last year, now on the Gazzetta website another final circuit around Macerata. Sorry

So except Crit. International, which could be put online with the 2010 Stages, all of March is done, or?

So full concentration on April I'd say.

I'm going to travel this week, I'll not have time to change the stage of Critérium International, so if someone want to do it, fell free to make it.
Sorry, and thanks. ;)

Rohr:

Catalunya 1:

Today at km 103 we reach -50 meters and stay there for quite a while. Not sure how it influences the stage, maybe you just went down too much somewhere, and the rest is all ok, still, try to pay attention to that stuff as well. We never should end up swimming, my riders forgot their swimming wear!

PS: Of course still don't like the mintact either, for me way to late, would have put it at 120... with only 12 km basically now I'm forced to stay in front of the computer non stop, toilet, 4 important km gone, otherwise only 2... but ok, designer decides... still don't see the sense of putting it that late.

Went down to -30 once, goal at -40 finally. So probably somewhere in the first part a mistake. Not enough up or too much down.

Argh, thats stupid, when designing with height, the problem are the rounded percentages, I entered the final at 5m, but somehow with the percentages being calculated from the heights, in the profile they often wind up different then intended, as it generates the heights from the percentages and not vice versa.
How do you do this, when designing, I simply enter the heights at every km, and whatever is calculated out of it, are the percentages. Then I save and pray, must perhaps think about something else.

About the min tacts I'm never sure, for me personally I prefer late min tacts as it often takes the stage much longer, if set too early, but I'm trying to learn.

I use the heights but only 10 by 10
The x5 I try to think before counting or eliminating them, and almost never put a 5 in if i think there should be an up or downhill, but directly a +/- 10, and compensating it in the next kms.

Gent Wevelgem, why are we riding the 2010 version? Slightly pissed off, what am I spending my time checking out belgian country roads if then we use old version?

If there's a problem with the design (and I wasn't really happy with it either) say so. Can try to correct. But just taking the 2010 version?

Of course 5 editions is 1 too many with CI and Catalunya parallel as well.

Anyway, I take a nice designing holiday now, since obviously I'm not needed.

Interesting test tomorrow.

2 different races, but all at the same time.

Let me be the first one to pronounce the test a failure. 8+13+19+22 all with 2 races. Nice for those guys, kind of sucks for the rest. And of course with lots of sorrow and sadness I had to realize that the afternoon can't race tomorrow.

Let's not try this test again in the future.
