Thanks for flagging.
Would be a new concept to change the starting times from day to day

Re: March 2026

Same as last year

New circuits. Same pave classficiation.

Different circuit compared to 2023.
+ Laigueglia made some changes. Let me know if you are going to design it.

Re: March 2026
Still no updates here. If you need some help in designing I could take a look at the rest of the stages too? But would need some communication from your sidecataracs wrote: ↑Fri Feb 20, 2026 11:37 pmYes that's not the final version, still need to review the gpms and the little details they changed.BuT the % of the hills should stay as it is for the most part.Nomorelulz wrote: ↑Fri Feb 20, 2026 7:09 pmStage 3 is 221km on the website and it also says about the final climb:
A fast finale gradually uphill over the final 15 km leads to the finishing straight (around 3%).
Final kilometers
The closing kilometres are flat and virtually straight. After entering Magliano de’ Marsi, the road drags slightly uphill (around 2%) to the finishing straight on tarmac.
--> I think that needs to be reviewed Taka
Stage 4 also on the website is 213km and the last climb on la flamme rogue says: 1.5 Km @ 8.5%, in c4f its 3-8 right now (maybe thats right though? trying to get more into designing).

Re: March 2026
Ok just tell if I can support with a stage. Stage 6 is containing laps. That looks like a hard designing work

Re: March 2026
I updated from 1 to4 should be fine now. Stage 5 annoying circuit but I managed somehow, added a 5% as last km to make it realistic but not sure if thats how it should be. without it we get a -7% finish but in reality it's a 700m -7% then 300m 7%

Re: March 2026
stage 6 and 7 finished (KOM can be changed in accordance with taka's feeling)
Stage 6: mountain
3 final laps, the finish of the 3rd one is slightly different and therefore steeper

Stage 7: flat
5 final laps with 14,5km so there are km added in between to get to the final lenght, not decisive, just if someone wonders

Re: March 2026
Is someone working on Strade Bianche? The Infos about the rout is out since a month I guess. Route is different to last year but with a lot of overlap. If no one is working on it already I can give it a try. Combining existing sections with new route might be a bit tricky to implement, so if someone already plans doing it, please tell me.
Final 54 km are exactly the same as last year.

Strade Bianche 2026

80% of the race as last year, some gravel streets not ridden this year. I took the same sectors as in last years edition except for Vidritta which is just partially ridden this year 2 instead of 4 km so I downgraded the two km to *.
Comments/Feedback/Critizism welcome

Re: March 2026

They changed route, so found out that the old design was inconsistent with MSR ratings. Now the design has:
Capo Mele 4 3 (MSR direction)
Capo Berta 5 5 (MSR direction)
Cipressa 5 4 6 5 2 (MSR direction)
Capo Berta 3 4 4 (reverse direction)
Capo Mele 3 3 (reverse direction)
Micheri 8 8

Adjustment makes sense for me, so with 80% the same, I have nothing to criticize, because I would be criticizing my own design
Leaving one day for others to comment.

Re: March 2026
Had a look at Omloop & KBK participation.
Omloop
10: 12
14: 14
18: 17
21: 20
KBK
11: 14
15: 16
19: 12+11
22: 17
Considering these are pave-heavy, not highest category races, so probably amongst the least popular of the classics, I conclude: We can afford a 5th edition for (most of) the classics on the weekend this spring classic season.
The main advantage will be for the evening (one edition more to choose from) and especially for those teams who are at risk landing in field 2. For KBK the cut-off was somewhere in Div3, but cut-off could even be Div2 if lots of Div1 teams are inscribed in one edition... Imagine you are somewhere in Div2/3 and end up riding MSR in field 2... seems harsh to me with the current number of active teams and limited number of new teams. If we had lots of newbies everyday, OK, having field 2 makes sense. But currently it's not the case, so I'd probably avoid field split at the moment.
Now why do I post this in the March thread and not the April thread: I even consider adding one more edition for MSR for this reason. 18/20 instead of only 19 would be my choice. Unless lots of people tell me, they have already made their exact dinner plans and can only do 19 (and neither 18 nor 20) because of that.
What do you think?

Re: March 2026
Strade Bianche km 25, there's a downhill pavé, Bug-alert (Also there's no reason for the pavé-gravel to be placed there, there is no sector there in reality. Missclick?)
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.
