Tasmania could also be two editions, one for the afternoon since they don't get the sprint tour. 13/14- 22/23

Same as last year if I see it correctly. Can't speak Japanese unfortunately.

Final thoughts from you or anyone else?

Yes, 13-23 are enough, no need for a third edition, we have too many tours already.

But 13 and 23 h sounds for me like very unlikely Times.
And i see only 2 Stage races in November for normal guys. That didnt soudn to much. The late November Stage race with 4 editions, and the second normal stage race sgould have only 2 editions? No classics or others tour in the side calender.
I´ve got the magic in me

The times are pretty good for me, but I don’t get why Tasmania get two editions with only cat 1 side program races and mindanao will get 4 editions

The original proposal had 7 tours for the offseason, but since some wanted more tours, I promised more but with reduced editions.

Tasmania not Mindanao because it's a smaller(less important structure) tour and with 2/4 days possibly for climbers. I suggested 3 editions at the start but when I had the whole overview of the month complete, 2 looks kind of enough.

I am still missing a real pavé race in November. Not a race with some pavé or a hilly race with pavé, a real pavé race for pavé specialists.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

A Tasmania Tour with only two editions? And at totally strange times, too????

in the preview there are 3 and see it changed ... but Why?

There's no parallel tour, just regular races! so why no 3 like everytime ...

As there is no final pdf out, I am in favour of keeping the times on the preview. Keeping the complete evening out is a very bad idea if you want to keep teams active in off-season.

13-23 OK for me and would be, I think, the only change for final PDF. (Sorry for not having produced and uploaded yet.)

Taka explained why: The number of off-season tours was originally lower and now with more tours there is an argument to have not too many editions. Look at low number of teams riding today's one day race for example.

But why offer 23h when there is little other option? It is a fringe time, which is nice to offer when there are alternatives.

So it is now official that the calendar team prefers to restrict tours, which more manages want to ride, to get better one-day-race participation. Sad.

I suggested two editions Tukh and Gip agreed, only you disagreed kind of. Since schappy/bw just want to oppose me I assume, which doesn't make sense, since the 3 offered times was also 100% my suggestion...

But the tours discussion was in the offseason thread. More tours are actually offered now, so it's more tours not less.

It seems you really can't have a reasonable conversation with me!!! What does one thing have to do with the other?

That was a reasonable question and a request... nothing more and nothing less!
And I think that's not just my opinion!
Two tours are unusual—the timing is even more unusual... and I can and will live with that, as I already wrote!

and MindanaoTour 4 times?!? Kat 1 and no parallel tour as well ... logical?

Now, this is just for supertaka's awesome reply:
I apologize for contradicting God and not agreeing with him ... but believe me I will always love you and your attitude!
That won't change even if you posted three tours! So feel free to do it ... it change nothing.
And good luck at 23 h. This is a wonderful time for you! And then especially for me!!!
Then I can play with nice people for 4 days and sleep well at night ... kiss

Hi everyone,

Please don't take the calendar personal. It's not THAT important ;)

Everyone brings forward their arguments and please just focus on the arguments (not on who wrote them down, which should not matter for the discussion).

Then I try to balance the interests. Some prefer tours, some prefer one day races. Some prefer early morning, some prefer late evening. In the end, it has to be balanced, because we want everyone to have their favorite type of race and time of race, not always, but at least sometimes!

Here we talk about a Cat.1 tour, 4 days, with relatively short stages. If there is ever an opportunity for some "odd" times, here it is. For higher category races, these times have hardly any chance anyway.

Thank you and enjoy.
Have a nice weekend.
Dont forget to put form.

I'm very happy with your work!!
And it's great that you're ALL doing such a good job.

So far, it's been easy to express wishes without getting a silly comment in return!
So please keep it up.

If you don't want to hear any wishes/criticism, that's okay too; just plan it and post it online.
That's fine too!
