Reg plays a bigger role because it looks rather difficult to start the next day fit, if you have low reg. But tactical opportunities within the TT are pretty much nonexistant
Now you have some tactical opportunity riding fast and risk more for the 2nd half stage or ride very slow to be fitter

Have some doubts about Paris-Tours. I'll refrain from posting details about what I disagree with exactly, don't need the toxic answer "design an alternative instead of writing here." Just review it, overdesigning hills, distances from finish, last km... ok, went a bit into details, couldn't resist, I punish myself:

In any case I can only decide on existing profiles. If there is only one designed profile, I hesitate to get involved in overruling the designer. If we had the luxury of mutiple profiles for one race, I could pick and choose and the best design.
As for Lombardia, we could talk about the last 3 km -5-3-3 now, According to their site (which is much more useful than what Paris-Tours offers admittedly) we lose 45 39 and 28 meters in the last 3 km. With an additional 11 meters lost from the top of the last hill. (in between 200 and 300 meters) On paper -5-4-3 seems better, I could argue (and do) that we could go -5-4-2 as well. -2 for the last km because the end, the really last meters are basically flat. Since that plays into our sprint in the last km IMO the last 500 meters deserve special attention. So here going down to -2 from -3 seems a sensible solution too. Here too, forget about me designing a full alternative.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

The idea is that these are races for the National Teams, too. If the World Championships happen without major bugs. Like that we can test if a National Race parallel to Normal Race works, too. It will have to be "open" for other national teams (even though they should simply not inscribe?) and the jersey will go to the best placed European. The jersey will most likely have to be given manually.

Sounds good! We could add Afro-Asian/ American championships later.

Thanks. Well spotted. Changed it.

Btw, anyone wants to design this prestigious World Tour race? :)

Is there any information about the Chinese race. I'm unable to access the official webpage. The little info I found like me assume it will be similar to last year in difficulty.

No details yet for Guangxi, if there is still no info in a week, we use same profiles as last year ?

Finishes are same places than the last years. So I guess no changes.

If this is accurate, it will be very similar, if not the same. First and last stages are a bit longer, but the rest is probably identical.
