Re: August 2025
Is it possible for Admins to change the bonis of Single stages as for example Stage 5 is an TTT but gets flat bonis
or stage 1 is flat but gets mountain bonis?
or stage 1 is flat but gets mountain bonis?
Re: August 2025
Set the category according to the points, so if its flat but you get but you only get 20 Points set the type Mountain stage.TDM_Luxembourg wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 11:23 amIs it possible for Admins to change the bonis of Single stages as for example Stage 5 is an TTT but gets flat bonis

Here's the official roadbook for 2025. There is some kind of categorisation for the stages, but I am not exactly sure how those correspond to the flat/hilly/mountain categorisation they use for the points jersey.

Re: August 2025
I understand the decision even if I do not like it. If somebody wants to ride the races I suggested before, I would do some designing. I do not think Limousin-Perigord and Pitou would take any teams away from the Vuelta or Beleux, so two editions would be possible. But as long as I have little support here, I will stop arguing.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 21, 2025 3:33 pmSo unless someone commits to designing one of those and suggests how to include it exactly, (i.e. how many editions, which times and which times of other races to cut) I cannot consider any more stage races for August.
Regarding BeNeLux, I think 4 editions are too many, parallel to the Vuelta. Having 4 one-day races as well, this would be 12 races on the same day, and I do not remember when we have ever done this.

Re: August 2025
Not sure if you count Portugal, and I can probably only offer one edition, but this would be a solution to add something:
(And BeNeLux, yes, you are right. 2-3 editions enough probably.)

Ha. Another change. Actually they removed Azkarate, shortening the race to 211km only, and they replaced Pilotegi (last climb in 2024) with the good old Murgil-Tontorra.

Re: August 2025
Pologne finished.
Renewi, no details yet. but no ITT this year, probably big classic riders or even climbers favo there then (depends if there are cobbles or not for the climbers).
ITT of Poland and Denmark are both short but could have an impact on GC.
August was traditionnaly maybe the best month for ITT riders.
Portugal has 2 ITT stages; so would make sense to add an edition here imo (like last year ?).
Adding more tours in general can create demand of teams. Offering more tours and times can motivate many team to ride (as it was shown in the past that many teams like the (short) tours).
Reducing the number of tours and times can reduce the number of participants as some won't be available to ride at the reduced offer of times (and tours diversity). Also, with reduced offer of tours, many smaller/new teams could avoid these, because being scared of big fields with many big teams and not being able to make a result.
Staying on the // program is then much more profitable (and even enjoyable maybe).
Also, most teams (and smaller/new teams) don't use the forum to come give their opinion and ask for preferred times and so on ...
Anyway, I'm in favor in more tours/more times offered. Especially at that time of the year : plenty of young managers having more free time, quite good participation these weeks even with not so many tours, plenty of interesting real tours to ride, specialist GT in //, etc.

Final PDF online
Lots of generic requests for 'more tours'. Taka provided a concrete proposal. So I implemented that. Let's see if it gets designed until 31st July. Otherwise, it will be cancelled and the 22h editions will be added to Poland & Denmark.

Thats true Radunion: i will change the description: "easy flat tour".
I will not get all those short hills right: its my first design, we will see.
I see you put in all the GPX files, and I added the stage names for you. Some things you could optimize:
- Add the mintact
- Add the KOM / IS according to the website
- Check the small short hills
- Check the circuits on some of the stages

Re: August 2025
The hills of final circuits of the 2 last stages seem to be 5%. And yes, you can adapt the circuits (not easy to do the first times); so you get the same amount of d+ and d- each lap. on such small circuits, not a big deal if that influences a bit the total amount of kms of the race at the end (+/-kms is ok imo). One thing to be careful about is that often the last km of the race is badly cut when we import a GPX in the editor; so that requires often a manual adaptation for the final km(s).Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 10:51 amJust checking Hoefs, how is that going?Hoefs Cycling Team wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 8:17 amDesign is working: thanks to Gip and Olmania.

Today i finished Tour of Denmark.
I looked at the hills and changed some, i think this is the closest to reality: i did my best.
I dont know where to put the points, so i do it here.
Each stage at the finish these are the points:

No. 2 12 points No. 8 5 points
No. 3 10 points No. 9 4 points
No. 4 9 points No. 10 3 points
No. 5 8 points No. 11 2 points
No. 6 7 points No. 12 1 point
Bonification seconds: 10, 6 and 4
The TT does not have points (and no bonification seconds)
The points IS:
No. 1 5 points
No. 2 3 points
No. 3 1 point
Bonification seconds: 3, 2 and 1
KOM:
Category 1 Category 2
No. 1, 12 points. No. 1, 6 points
No. 2, 8 points No. 2, 4 points
No. 3, 4 points No. 3, 2 points
After my vacation on 3 August i am able to do some changes.

Thank you. Good work. Not 100% sure about the final circuits on stages 4 & 5, if every lap is identical, but for your first tour looks O.K. (circuits are a pain, but it's beautiful if they are identicalHoefs Cycling Team wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 9:58 pmToday i finished Tour of Denmark.

I dont know where to put the points, so i do it here.

Regarding the points, we only do custom points for the 3 Grand Tours (Giro, Tour, Vuelta) because it is a lot of work (researching them in time & putting them in the code) and also to make it more simple for players who don't know every single rule in cycling. So all other tours have "standard" points.
But you can make the settings such that the tour is as close to reality as it can be, for example:
You could classify all stages as "Mountain" to reflect that, but now it's bit of question of Taste, because the description of "Mountain" is not ideal for DenmarkEach stage at the finish these are the points:
No. 1 15 points No. 7 6 points
No. 2 12 points No. 8 5 points
No. 3 10 points No. 9 4 points

No. 5 8 points No. 11 2 points
No. 6 7 points No. 12 1 point
Bonification seconds: 10, 6 and 4
The TT does not have points (and no bonification seconds)

Standard in-game is 6-4-2 points and 3-2-1 seconds so it's OKish(and well, there is only one IS anyway, so no way to change it ^^).The points IS:
No. 1 5 points
No. 2 3 points
No. 3 1 point
Bonification seconds: 3, 2 and 1
This is closer to what we have as Cat.2 and Cat.3 ingame.KOM:
Category 1 Category 2
No. 1, 12 points. No. 1, 6 points
No. 2, 8 points No. 2, 4 points
No. 3, 4 points No. 3, 2 points
Cat.2: 10-6-4-2-1
Cat.3: 5-3-1

A quick look from me now on the first part of the Vuelta (no time to check all % of climbs; mostly key parts and last kms) :Hansa wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 12:10 amI havent looked at any Vuelta profiles. Maybe some Ol, Gip, Hansa critic possible?
First of all, the lack of details of official website, makes it quite difficult. Also for flamme rouge, who made design mistakes because of that lack of info in the past few weeks (it's been corrected/updated as of now, but it's possible that updates will be needed later in August, before the Vuelta starts.
stage1, looks ok for me even if you have 2 more kms than the real distance (I don't know from where).
stage2, you lack 4kms maybe there ? but design looks good. Final climb : looks quite flatish, a few 6% here and there max. found different profiles online; hard to tell exactly where is 4-5-6%; but agree last km seems to be a bit steeper; but I'd say a 6%, not a 7%. not very important anyway; key thing is to have only orange km and a few 6%, that's it.
stage3 : official website says 135kms, flamme rouge and your design have 140. if flamme rouge is right, last km should be 5%
stage4 : some changes done here by the organizers; stage has to be longer with a different last 40kms. slighlty uphill on the finish line too (2-3% ?)
stage 5 : 20kms for flamme rouge, 24 for official website. here it makes a difference. a little bit of % in the last kms on official profile
stage6 : all good for the kms there !
stage7 : 1km missing maybe. profile looks good, last climb very irregular, could be checked km/km and have different interpretation as usual on such climb.
stage8 : maybe a few kms missing. last km could be a 0% maybe
stage 9 : looks ok, last kms could be reviewed if details available. looks like last km more flat, but a km before a bit steeper.
stage10 : might miss a few kms again. last climb with a flatish end, looks ok.
