I saw no gpx data anywhere. Designed it with the help of RideWithGPS by hand. Design is finished. Have to add the town names and set it into the calendar. Will update Dauphine then. I Might be finished around 2-3 AM I think

Occitanie finished. You should see it in calendar, but as I already said, I had to handdesign it completely with RideWithGps, so some parts could be very wrong.

I'm always in favour of not accuracy, but the Dauphine update means I have to reconsider my race plan. Before it was possible for a sprinter to win something, now it is not. So please look at this if you have already set your form.

Yes, true. I am still sorry that the update was needed.

Now I looked at the official Dauphine profiles and have to argue. Stage 1, 0.6 a 8.6 % looks more as a 5 than a 6 to me, both in pure elevation and influence it has in the race. Stage 2, 6-6 looks a bit much for 1.8 a 5.7 %. Stage 3 1.2 a 9.2 % is not a 10.

It will not change much for me as even with this changes there is no point in bringing a full sprint team but I argue against making races harder than they actually are.

I disagree, and I can give a little more details after the first review/check I did a lot earlier. As I designed by hand the climbs, in stage one it has about 400m at 11.5%; it's a true wall. Also the street keeps climbing a little after the KOM which the placed before the roundabout; so 6% makes sense there to me.
Stage 2, hand designed, the climb is a bit over 2kms, maybe they placed the kom not exactly at the "top" as the last part is less steep. 6-6 looks good in terms of d+ and distance.
Stage 3, it's 1.2km at 9%, with a hand design, i see it's very long steep part near 15-16%, so making it 10% for 200m less makes sense to me. Less steep part leads to the kom banned explaining the 1.2km (and only 9% average; even if I found more as I remember when handesigned it); and then it turns to a light incline, for the 2% coming next to the kom.

Looking at numbers they give for the KOM is good, but for very short climbs, when it's possible to get more details/info, it's useful to adapt the % to our km by km system.

I agree, it makes it less interesting for sprint teams in RSF.

With the little info available, I think it's good that way. If we have more details later, it could be adapted, but I think it's good enough to give all necessary info for the forms ;) thanks for the great work !

Only question about stage 2 : how did you find the way they do the final lap ? (it does not look obvious from their map)

We will see how the Dauphine stages work out in real life. Either I will complain or eat humble pie. But overall it makes little difference as sprinters will not turn up anyways. And of course thanks for the work to try to make the short climbs more accurate even if I disagree about minor details.

ECS you need to put your races on "review" after you're done designing!

Intermediates for Suisse done now. There are also bonus sprints that only give 3/2/1s time bonification as far as I know. Should we just ignore them or also add a special bonification like we had for the Giro?

So far, the rule was custom intermediates only for Grand Tours. Rule can be changed but I would recommend keeping it not to overcomplicate things.

i would prefer the stuff you do do implement in the editor so every designer can add special stuff too. I get the complicated argument but i also would prefer the real Points and Intermedians if we can find them for the tours

Is somebody already planning to design the real races Friday, Saturday and Sunday? I should be able to do one of them tomorrow if I find the information (have not searched for it yet).

Well, all three look the same as last year. Maybe some km lost or gained in circuits, but no need to redesign if nobody has strong feelings about the pave used for Saturday's race.

So, at the end how is the pie  ?

Anyway, it can't always be the same irl and in game; depends of line ups, challenges and race conditions ofc.
I think here the hills were a good design, close to the reality on road ;)

Well, both would not have worked for stage 1. A attack opportunity, but else, 6 looks too hard in terms of split and 5 is way too easy in game. So I refuse to eat pie but l wasn't right either.

Can we stop naming races? At all?

Poor Ceriel Bucquoy has won this:

St 1: Prospect-Gumeracha
Étape 2: Prémilhat > Issoire
Étape 3: Brioude > Charantonnay

I rather have no race name in the palmarès than this. Or just number the races from 1 to whatever at the end of the year. Or simply no name, just the date. Or maybe somebody can come up with another solution.

I'm very looking forward to win Étape 3: Pujaudran›Luz-Ardiden as well btw, with the famous 3km final climb to Luz-Ardiden.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.
