I will open the first offseason calender draft/suggestion soon. But one thing in advance. Could we put the NCs on Saturday 14 October? Otherwise, the Tour des Pavés might not be very well attended...

I support NC on Saturday too!

Design:

Bernocchi-Münsterland-Beghelli-Famenne Ardenne-3 Valli-Binche- Paris-Bourges (which we have twice right now, probably the one on Friday is the right one?)-Taxc-Van Steenbergen-Japan Cup are all cancelled in reality, so 2019 profile.

Same for Guangxi.

That leaves
Milano-Torino, new parcours, already ridden
Gran Piemonte, new parcours, already ridden
Lombardia, very small changes I think, already ridden (but 2019 version would be ok too, changes really seem very minor early on, will recheck)
Emilia, new parcours, already ridden
Paris-Tours: Haven't checked yet

I'll start later this month, anybody else doing something mention it here....

Fantasy:
Tour de Pavé needed, if somebody wants to organize a competition again, do it.... I don't care what way we get our Pavé, just get it :D

Another issue: Giro di Sardegna, end of October. 28.10-01.11
Real race, real date, we really should ride that somehow, but last time I checked no info on their site couldn't find anything.

Put in, reschedule Pavé? Parallel to pavé?

Who needs competition. Pavés is ready!
No mountain points. No money on the road. Just cobblestones! And hills...

Stage1: Few short hills here and there. And few easy pavés passages. Just a warm up for the next days.

Stage2: Flat, just flat. with 8 pavés passages, that shouldn't be easy. But a big opportunity for te pavés monsters to gain some time.

Stage3: 16km of Team TimeTrial, with cobblestones of course. Strong riders with a bad team will struggle here for sure.

Stage4: The final is a 5km circuit. +7 +3 -5 -4 -1. 4 laps of this, but before, there are hard cobbles parts that should make the selection.

Stage5: Kind of the opposite of the previous day. after 30km te road will begin to rise, and there will be 3 hard climbs on the way. But the last 50km are flat, with hard pavés.

I won't care much which pavé tour we have, so up to Pokemon and/or Gipfel that did the vote last year to say if they want to have a try. Only critiques for this tour would be the names.. they don't seem to be from 2020 really  No Kopinski, no Lafargue, no Van Looy (I think I actually remember 3 Roubaix winners this year, I'm great) etc.

But more important right now:

Any comments on Sardegna? I quote myself:

I now think we should put it in... not sure why I didn't put it in in the preview....A mystery.

That would of course push back the fantasy season a bit, Tour de Pavé, Andes.
Anybody any comments now?

If no info on that Giro di Sardegna (apart the amateur profiles), maybe better to skip it and put a fantasy race instead (or design a fantasy Giro di Sardegna ? I could do it in the coming days if needed).

Because of covid situation, chances to see it cancelled are real; and also, we are not sure to get details about the race in time later in October.

Fantasy Sardegna is out for sure IMO, the majority decided against that when we were thinking about fantasy TdS and stuff, no need to change for the last race of the season :D

They seemed pretty convinced in July when it was announced it was going to be ridden, so seems rather likely it will be?

2 possibilities I see:

1) Leave the calendar as in the preview (except NC on Saturday)
2) Put in Sardegna. Postpone pavé to early November.
a) We find Sardegna profiles early enough, all good.
b) We don't find anything useful, then a few days before a random fantasy race in.

Waiting for Luques to update and finalize the PDF.

But hasn't been in the forum for 3 days it seems. Bah, probably shows up tomorrow, if not I'll decide ha!Once decided stuff will go up.

The stuff that isn't designed yet, see somewhere above... haven't started yet, but should have no problem doing it later, Sunday/Monday/Tuesday... if you are hyper eager to do something, Milano-Torino/Gran Piemonte seem more logic then the others, but if you're not so eager, no problem at all

Nice pavé tour by this cataracs/Taka guy by the way. Looks like fun with the TTT and the slightly hilly stages.

And very helpful because it seems nobody else wanted a competition or had time for it this year.
