Strade Bianche... Mmmh, normally we agreed on gravel to be * but in real life the peloton explodes, here nothing happens.

Maybe on those long passages, an increase would be realistic, so for example over 8km gravel, increase slowly from * to *** to reflect the difficulty to stay in one group over longer gravel distance? Not perfect, but maybe more realistic?
The difficulty of pavé in the game physics is also dependant on the gradient of the particular KM. Hence a * can be selective on a 2%, 3% or more KM although not so much on riders with a good climbing skill, while on 0% it has hardly any effect at all. Still, the question is if you want to favour classic riders in general or riders with a better pavé skill more. The version with only * certainly favours classic riders or climbers/80-70 with a decent pavé skill (60+).

In real life, you have both, winners that are also good on pavé races, Flanders guys, f.e. Cancellara, van Avermaet, etc. but also more like the Ardennes guys like Bardet, Kwiatkowski, Brambilla, Valverde on the podium. And of course cyclocross specialists like Stybar, van Aert, etc. So this will be very hard to achieve with the current game physics anyway. But so far, I haven't had the impression that the race is very different than f.e. PR here compared to PR in real life.

Long story short: I think we can leave it at *.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Samyn 19... In contrary with what I've said, 2019 version is similar to 2018! I've been mistaken when I checked, I have no clue why!

So use pokemon design of last year... Just check cause there is a -3* in the local circuit so that * should be simply cut. Rest looks quite good to me, Only poke forgot to mention we ride through Elignies Sainte Anne around km 65 which is unforgivable!

On the race profiles, can you please specify whether it is ITT or TTT?
For Paris - Nimes (or Nice, depending on where we are located) please.

For the UAE TOUR, I realized at the last moment that it was a Team time trial , not a ITT.
Thank you in advance.

Ok, even though you can actually see that in the type of race column, I'll try to put it back in the title of the race again in the future. (If I design)

Milano Sanremo done.
Small changes: Turchino different, an early 6 disappeared, used cyclingcols for the percentages
Cipressa slightly different. Last km a 1 not a 2 (start at 10 meters instead of 0 I guess)(reality
9 km flat between the end of the downhill of the Cipressa to the start of the Poggio, up from 8
Poggio 5-4-4-1 first km a 5 seems clear, last 700 meters go up at 2%, but it's only 700 meters. Rather have the 3rd km at 4 instead of 3, since the steepest part and often the attack place is there.
End, -1 0 instead of 0 -1. Last km should be flat, last 500 meters are, the whole km at -0.4 too.

Strade Bianche on:

Took out all the -3 or more with pavé. Either deleted the pavé, or if there were other -1 or -2 downhill nearby, adapted there, instead of -1*-3* to --2*-2* Or if the km before a -5 with no pavé, adjust there (but all these adjustments nearby, within 3 km I think)

* or **

Only 3 comments, Flolandria (Rasta?) in the chat, **/***, FL all ok like 18, Gipfel increase slowly from * to ***
In the end did something between FL and Gipfel. If there's 6 km of gravel in a row, make the 6th one a **.
All * after all I think too pro climbers. They do have chances, but all with * probably a climber starts as the clear favorite in every race... the occasional ** maybe not enough, maybe should have done it after 4 km. And count the cut gravel kms as gravel too... hmm. But going to *** ,too hard too, then the climbers are at 0 chances again basically. They should have some... * the occasional ** IMO a good solution, but maybe more ** better.. we'll see how it goes.
Ah, and checking the race if I got all the -3 or more with * not a bad idea!

Ah, what needs to be done:

Gaurain is doing the belgian stuff.
Tukh started Catalunya

So not much left:

Drenthe: Checked, different route so needs to be done
Denain+Loire Atlantique: Checked 2 days ago... forgot to what conclusion I came, think didn't understand one of the 2 sites and the other seemed different?
Coppi e Bartali

Gent Wevelgem.

Use edition 2018, looks really good. Plugstreets * is good, Kemmelberg 8*** excellent too. Poke did a really great job.

Just add 1km right at the start so that it fits with this year length (251km instead of 250)... And this km is definitely missing really at the beginning!

Drenthe done.

No pavé on that Col du VAM or Vam thing, it's short and after pavé we get no sprints. So to get the GPMs, no pavé.
Left out 1 or 2 "cobblesprints" as well.
Pavé is between * and ****, only 1 km ****, a few at ***
Most of the roads are not in google street, so a lot of guess work. And since my computer doesn't like google street at all, had to check with my mobile  So not all perfect for sure.

Done with Nokere.

Harder than before but that's what the organisation made, not the way I designed it actually. Finish still on Nokereberg (2*) but before Huisepontweg and Den Ast (also 2*).

Image

Den Ast : 2*
Nokereberg : 2*
Huisepontweg : 0**/0** (same is Het Blad)
Tiegemberg : 5

Rest ist *

Handzame Classic or Bredene Koksijde (don't know which name we have to use... Easy race, only big hill is Kemmelberg (8***)... After that it's alsmot flat all the way long, with a final circuit nearby the sea ... only Veurnestraat with 0*

Coppi&Bartali? Since nobody has volunteered to design it so far, nobody knows.
If nobody volunteers, as I fear, I will do my usual clean-up. Then it will be finished in a week.

Denain done:

Took the pavé rating from la flamme rouge. Distance from their site, so the last pavé is only 1 km, 1,2 according to them, 1.6 according to la flamme rouge.

Do you happen to have a link to the stages? (original page maybe)

Designed it last year. Was a nice race. But in my memory with less important parallel program? So perhaps better to leave it out anyways.

It's in the PDF, so no question of leaving it out.
As I said, we'll do it next sometime next week, if nobody else is.

Link to original races can usually be found here:
http://www.cyclinglinks.nl/

Seems not online yet, 20st march presentation: That explains why nobody's done it yet :D Hadn't checked myself yet either...
http://www.gsemilia.it/a31_sett-int-cop ... rtali.html

Here usually profiles are all uploaded, once they are available.

Ok, good to have it eventually, even as parallel Programme to Catalunya.

Just one request, and sorry I didn't realize that earlier: Why in the world would we have two parallel tours (Catalunya, Coppi e Batali) but none of them with a 21/22/23h edition? Didn't do the math, but those three times are probably the most popular times at the moment. (While for PN and TA we have all three times parallel! Which makes the 23 suffer a bit but 21 TA and 22 PN are the most popular!)
