Re: Spring Classics 2024

KK wins K-B-K 35 years old and he is only getting better. Klaas Kemp won Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne after an attack in the last 3km, which only Chimwemwe (Dreizehn) could follow. In a race, in which we were clearly too much offline, our sprinter Mosconi wasn't there for the final so attacking was our bes...

Re: Spring Classics 2024

Afternoon edition. Early escape from 2 Gips and 1 Dagestan. The favorites (Donkey with the 3 best pavé riders and Alk with the 2 strongest looking classics) easily controlled peloton, from time to time trying to create a helper advantage vs the other. Donkey was able to sieb the Alk Classics on Haag...

Re: Team Reset

Reset in D6, not higher, don't see how this could be in any way controversial. Up this thread and this Donkeyposal. Agreed with it and it seems uncontroversial after the Division Reform. Seems it was just forgotten? And is it enough? On the one hand, if Reset is only possible in Div6 that means suc...

Can be added to the calendar if you design it. It might be popular amongst our players from Liechtenstein :)

Re: March 2024

Mmmh, thanks for counting, but you haven't really answered my question. By the way, you missed one more race with pave (Bredene Koksijde Classic), so we are at 6 "pave races" or 12 "races with pave/gravel" including the Waffle & Eroica. I understand you consider those numbers as too much, but where ...

Have you read my comment/question? ->
Isn't it a bit too much pavé in March having a Waffle Race and an Eroica race next too all these pavé classics?
Yes, I read it. You raise an important topic. How much is too much and why?

Re: March 2024

3 days until the final PDF, anymore feedback on the stage races? Very little so far, meaning most of you are happy with the preview? PN || TA: Bugatti would prefer 9 over 10 for Tirreno, so 9-19 then and PN 14-22. Catalunya: zizou would like a morning edition. So might stay at 4 editions. Maybe then...

Re: March 2024

Milano-Torino: Are we 100% sure it's the same route as last year? Same start town is all I found on their site. Which doesn't guarantee that the rest is the same. I'd propose to wait to put it in the calendar (preview is ok) until we have confirmation that it is indeed the same parcours Thought I r...

Re: Nicknames

The idea was that riders can also become famous or popular (and deserve a nickname) when they ride lots of races without personal success. For example, there have been some legendary domestiques.

But those criteria can be discussed of course.

Re: March 2024

I am no pavé expert, but the * rating of the website seemed a little exaggerated. I compared with recent google street views (I downgraded 2 pavé sectors as they seemed "brand new" from views of late 2023. and I also looked at flamme rouge ratings to try to adapt it consequently when it made sense ...

FPC Decision: No fine. It was the first fairplay case for ACC, he did not really profit from it and he apologized. There was in-game communication with him as well to make sure he understands the rules.

Preview, yes, yes! So keep commenting please! Catalunya no afternoon, Pais Vasco no morning, Romandie no early evening. Of course the parallel program for those 2 races is nowhere near the one for Catalunya, so if you want to offer 4 editions again for those 2, then other ways to decide which time i...

February is a short month (even though 1 day longer this year), so it's good to have the Preview early. Some thoughts: PN II TA: Participation much better than in previous year, but for now, 4 editions still seems better than 5 or 6 to have lots of teams per race. Catalunya: On the one hand, it's a ...

i see that some have the same Acronym ... isn't not good or?
For now, it's no problem.

Because we don't use it for anything important.

Maybe in the future, they have to be unique (no acronym twice). But it depends, how we use them.
