Re: June 2024

But for 1-week tours like Suisse,Dauphiné... insane. They are treated like races on parallel program.. As said RACP/Quick in previous posts, some guys are not interested by 1day races, but only for tours, could be nice to have more of these, with more diversity and at least 3 editions. Especially c...

Re: June 2024

Same as 2023 but actually we rode the 2022 version in 2023, so I had to re-design it, grrrr.

Heistseberg remains +3* -1.

Re: June 2024

really only 2 editions and than morning and early evening? no chance for afternoon? 13/14/15 (cant ride suisse) Sorry that I cannot offer every race at every time slot, in this case with Dauphine and TdS in parallel and both very specialized tours for mountain riders. Last year Dauphine was in the ...

Re: June 2024

Why did TdS chance to 15h? It was at 14h not 15h.... 15h is to late for me It was at 14h in the preview and up for discussion (see quotes below). Dauphine || TdS : As usual, Number of Editions to be discussed and Times to be discussed. In the end, it was a toss-up between changing it around vs. las...

Re: Team Darsseul - Illegal Sitting?

FPC Decison: No Fine. No Ban.

Team darsseul ensured that the Sitting only took place during stage races (legal).

Also, it is now registered, that team darsseul and pontepiscopiens are relatives. This has been accepted for other players as well, as long as it is a credible statement.

Re: June 2024

Final PDF online. Important stuff: - Dauphine and TdS remain parallel, as there was no clear majority to delay the TdS prologue. Real race on real date it is then. - There will be a 4-day Fantasy Stage Race from Tu,18 - Fr, 21 June. Race, Times and Editions to be decided (by AAD). - Tour de France w...

Re: June 2024

Picture so far: - 5 editions for TDF seems possible. User stats continued strong throughout the Giro with good numbers in the parallel progamme. Question is between 18-20-22 and 19-21-23 then. Is it possible to gain even more insight from the 19h teams here? Are there a few more (like Romoc) who wou...

Some random changes around Agathaberg, two different loops. Very annoying. No surprise noone else wanted to design that crap.

Re: June 2024

Dauphiné-Tour de Suisse 1 day overlap has been there since the TdS went down to 8 days. Before it was 2 days overlap I guess. What is different now, why change now? Just because something has been like this in the past, doesn't mean it can't be changed, but there should still be a good reason for t...

On 22 June 2024, we can celebrate 15 years Gipfelstuermer, so I designed L'Enfer du Trèves, on real roads with real pavè, including descriptions of all sectors below. km41-46 Mosel Cycling Path -1** 0** 0** 0** 0** 0** - The worst (or best) cycling path you can imagine. Re: LE TOUR 2024

The idea to put 3km of * and afterwards ** was introduced by Poke some years ago for Strade Bianche, and it has become the consensus for gravel sectors. However, no rule without exceptions: 1) Even in Strade Bianche, there are exceptions. Colle Pinzuto and Le Tolfe are both ** even though they are s...

Re: June 2024

Some general points for June: Le Tour : First Question: 4 or 5 editions? (see my comments below on record user stats). Second Question: Which times? 10 for the morning and 14 for the afternoon seem likely after those times missed out in the Giro. But please confirm if you want to ride at 10 or 14. I...

LE TOUR 2024

Discussion already started in the Editor Chat. So better to move it here. Who has time to design it? I already checked the classifications. All unchanged from last year. (Perhaps we can even implement the 8-5-2 bonus seconds along the route.) Green: Maximum amounts of points: 50 – 30 – 20 – 18 – 16 ...

Someone interested to check Rund um Koeln (I think some small changes to the route) and/or Mercan Tour Classic (different route than last year, a design with precise climb percentages would be nice) ?

Re: May 2024

31st fine for me too I would plan it for 28th in the end. Because there is a 15-years Team Trojer Vellau jubilee race on the 31st (even though I am not 100% sure why on the 31st, probably because his real 15-year jubilee was during Giro?). However, there is a new problem. The old profile is on the ...

Who is "we" and who voted for you as speaker of "us"?
My "Us" simply refers to us as in us as a team. (see Big Donkey post for more explanations!). I have no idea how the usage of that can be controversial. Especially since you write in the same style in your posts!

Re: The Real Giro 2024 Afternoon

AAD won two Giros in a row and has good chances for a third one. Unfortunately, their manager knows very well how and when to control in peloton. Yesterday there wasn't much to control and when the tiny escape went, we saw an impressive collaboration amongst the teams with sprinters. With 22km to go...

Last year we rode the 2022 version. But actually 2023 was different. Now 2024 similary to 2023 (but a bit shorter). The circuit a pain in the ass, hope I got it roughly correct.

Re: May 2024

Tour du Finistère has the same circuit as last year (but I'd make it 4% instead of 5% for the hill of the last km). But seems to have a little change of route from 140 to 160 with more hills (with sieb possible, >7%) https://www.tourdufinistere.fr/user/images/main/guide-technique-2024.pdf Different...
