Re: May 2026

Tour de Hongrie ... really 2x times only in the verylateafternoon/evening? 17-23 ? Drafted like that because - Try to avoid GIRO times in order to keep server performance stable - Try to rotate times for the small parallel tours - Hongrie the least prestigious amongst those, so gets the unusual tim...

Re: April 2026

11-15-19-20-22 looks weird for LBL, is that intentional? Yeah late times are lovely for long Sunday races. Why would you want to finish before 12 am or 12 pm. Makes no sense at all 11-15-19-22 was promised in the PDF. 20 was added as an additional evening time because - RVV and PR both had splits a...

For now * because only 250m and seems pretty easy.
Agree with this approach. Some might even argue no * at all in that case, but if Giro organisers flag it, they seem to think it is somehow relevant, so I think * is OK.

Re: May 2026

Not the end of the world if it stays like it is, just as I said somehow confusing on what criteria the decisions are taken. To explain why I proposed (not decided) 9-14-18-20-22: - 5 editions this year, so it affects the rotation (MSR had 4 fwiw), at least for the evening which goes from 2 to 3 edi...

Re: May 2026

Increase in teams helps with calendar: - Giro 4 or 5 editions? Now clearly 5. So that's one edition more than in previous years. - Tour de Hongrie, yes or no? Now clearly yes. So that's one parallel stage race more than in previous years. But also raises some questions: - Div6 only races... I would ...

Re: April 2026

Not clear to me where exactly the 6(?) km differences are coming from. Perhaps discrepancy between LFR and that picture you posted, or has to do with the circuit. That "picture" is the profile from the official website. La Flamme Rouge also has it listed with 200 km on the PCR website: https://www....

Tour du Doubs... Cancelled Real Races in general... how do we handle them better? If they are cancelled after Final PDF, and if we don't have that many Fantasy Races, best to keep them in with previous year's version? I see only two problems: - if there is no previous year's version (then we need fa...

Maybe an idea to lower points & money in div6-8 races and/or even group 2 races? Now you risk a guy 'accidentally' winning LBL there and promoting to D5 already with 5 races ridden, 0 in group 1...

Question to both of you (and everyone else), what's your preference: - Strictly separated classic editions or all mixed + additional Div 6 races? For me clearly all mixed + additional Div 6 races. Why? 1.) As written, cycling fans will want to ride the big races. Better to let newcomers ride LBL in...

- offer at least some editions of the classics only to Div 1 - 5
IMO all or nothing. All separate, or all mixed. Reason is "fairness".
I absolutely agree with RKL.

I'm pausing my role as calendar planner as long as the planned calendar gets overwritten.

Re: April 2026

For April, let us know once the editor is ready for that, then I would propose to add div6-8 fantasy races parallel to those classics where nothing else is parallel, meaning Amstel and LBL for April. For May, I will present the preview soon. Since it's a GT month, not a classics month, we probably d...

Re: To do for newcomers (for the Falcor newcomer wave)

Auto-Team gives you 9 riders plus money for 1-3 Riders, so every team who choses that, is OK financially. If a newbie does not want an auto team and prefers to waste their money, it's their freedom. Same freedom as all other teams have by the way. Having a minimum number or riders per team (for all ...

Hi Gael.

Is it because of a special characater? Perhaps ë ?

If it's OK for you to try with e instead of ë?

Another big thing: the fairplay rules. I am pretty sure, with so many new teams, lots of them will not be aware of that.
No problem as some genius created these penalty guidelines with mercy for teams <50 races :)
