Re: Paris - Nice '10

Sagan, what kind of a rider is he, can somebody tell me? Because I'm not really sure when I look at his results. There are the two stages Down Under where he was really good, both of them hilly. Now he is very good in the prologue, a difficult one. Top 10 of the prologue are all either superb time t...

Re: Paris - Nice '10

Bah, no Contador victory, should be more modest with my predictions...
But a nice victory for Boom, really. He could become the dutch Devolder in the weeks ahead.

Re: MSR

9% are really too much. Really. The 500m segments in that area are 5,6% and 3,8%, the max 9% sign is between those segments and I don't see it as a 9% Kilometer on both sides. The other changes are not so important, Turchino a bit different, a 6% in Capo Berta, no 5% in the Poggio, everything ok, bu...

Re: Paris - Nice '10

Contador will win the Prologue like last year. It's tailor made for him, not too short, not too technical and plenty of up and down. Just remember Tour de France Prologue in Monaco last year or the time trial in Pais Vasco. Comparable courses, Contador only beaten by Cancellara.

Re: Calendar March

I know where that 9 came from. http://www.gazzetta.it/grandeciclismo/milanosanremo/info_generali_ukm.shtml max 9% there, but they also have 8% there for the Poggio. Koppenberg has max 23%, but we don't make it a 23. Nevertheless, Cipressa and Poggio are difficult to judge, I've been through it mysel...

Re: Belgian Classics

Cheering for the wrong belgian neoprof, today done in perfection by the commentary of RTBF. Zingle, Zingle, ZINGLE! At least someone from the right team won. :D 1. Jens Keukeleire (Cofidis) 2. Gregory Joseph (Topsport) 3. Cedric Pineau (Roubaix) 4. Yauheni Hutarovich (FdJ) 5. Kristof Goddaert (Ag2r)

Re: Belgian Classics

Flens, Traksel, Stannard

+1 Minute: Hushovd, Hunt, Roulston

+2 Minutes: Group Chavanel, Rosseler, Roelandts, Hoste, some more Rabos, Goddaert, Eichler,...

Looks very much like one of the front six wins.

I'm also watching sporza now. Boonen, Nuyens, Flecha, Pippo, Van Avermaet out. Looks like a typical race for an outsider.

Re: Belgian Classics

Ok, not a fantastic race yesterday, weather too good, peloton together until the Taaienberg. Then Boonen made the selection himself, but a lot of people came back later on. Boonen and Nuyens very strong, but both had punctures in bad situations, Nuyens even twice. Haussler strong, but he missed the ...

Re: German cyclists and their perfomance

I'm not counting on any Germans on the Milram team, Wegmann, Fothen and Gerdemann may win a small race here or there, but they will fail once again in the big races. Ciolek might be the only exception, if he comes back from the injury in decent shape. It looks different for the Germans racing abroad...

I would love to see Cavendish's face when he gets kissed by two podium guys. That would make bunch sprints worth watching. :D

Maybe put the "Trainingserfahrungen"-Thread in RSF Riders? I don´t know, seems kind of suitable. But that thread is for wackos anyways.

Re: David Vitoria

Vitoria is a lucky guy, was on a chaos team last year and signed for a chaos team for this year. Now Rock Racing will probably close down while Footon looks quite solid until now. Good move for him, and he gets to play with the big boys this season. ;)
