Re: Rider Energy vs. Speed
Chase vs Escape now (I am referring to late escapes, last 50 Kms. Early escapes are screwed anyway): Someone attacks, gets big power decrease from the attack. Crappy helper is making tempo in the peloton, so the attacker gets away pretty easily in the first couple of Kms, gap growing. After ~10 Km t...

Links den Verslag als Video angucken, da kommt die Windkante gleich zu Beginn.
Aber was hat das jetzt mit der Umsetzung von Windkanten bei RSF zu tun?

Re: Belgian Classics
Been quiet here for so long, didn't say a word about Dwars door Vlaanderen and E3. Ok, real quick, Saxo superstrong, both Breschel and Cancellara. Unless Chavanel and Devolder get their game together those two will play cat and mouse with Boonen next Sunday. Flecha is stronger than ever this year, t...

Should have gone on the Kemmelberg, had nothing to lose, would have been fun. In the end I screwed up anyway.

Re: Spring classics, afternoon
Afternoon classics classification? I think I'm in for 15h Gent-Wevelgem! Ok, my plan for today started with the Pasapures-Sieb and it also ended there. Improvise from there. Little pave, lots of ugly sprinters like Demel and Silva. So we need to use every little piece of Pave to make the race hard. ...

Re: Spring classics, afternoon
Ok, I'm here for 15h today, but still not sure how to best distribute the riders over E3 and Gent-Wevelgem. Maybe I'll start all with falling form today and all with rising form tomorrow.

Re: Windkante
Einfaches System für Positionsfahren? Vorne fahren: Ja/Nein ?

Re: Giro
All 3 teams can be invited, there is no completely wrong or completeyl right choice, Flaminia out due to Riccò, the 2 others very close, one more potential overall, one with one possible CG surprise, one is called Colnago, the other not... is ok. The other one rolls on Cipollini bikes. That also co...

Re: Giro
Yes, Footon et al were not "invited" by Zomegnan, but that doesn't make their teams better. Footon might even send a decent team, because they really can't count on the Tour because of their Ricco-history. So we may see Capecchi, Capelli, Cheula, Eibegger, Cardoso, Vitoria, decent team, but many you...

No problem, you can still change your team until tomorrow. That's what "rückgängig" is for.

There is no minimum, the maximum is 10. I have four for tomorrow.

Re: Belgian Classics
Forget about Sagan, we have the next big thing: Jens Keukeleire. Won Le Samyn in a long sprint against Hutarovich and others. Won Driedagse van Westvlaanderen with a stage win and two third places. Today he won Nokere Koerse after a nice Cofidis leadout ahead of Boeckmans and Traksel. Small races, y...

Really nice wall, but not as tough as Montelupone. Scarponi crashed today because "Bruchpilot" Serpa fell in front of him in a descent. Serpa looks really bad, but he finished:

Re: German cyclists and their perfomance
Wegmann broke his collarbone in Tirreno, I suppose he is out for all the classics. Fröhlinger had to quit Tirreno because of stomach problems. I guess both were planned for Sanremo, Fröhlinger will probably get better until then, but lacks kilometres now. Ciolek remains out after the Qatarcrash, so ...

Yes, phenomenal. I hope his team changes his schedule for the next weeks, I read at CN he's going home to Slovakia after the race and won't come back before the Tour of Turkey. I say, this guy is in brillant form, he has no pressure whatsoever, throw him in for Sanremo! He won't lose his form in a w...

In a traditional approach to cycling you hold the wheel of the guy in front of you. But I guess that doesn't apply to Team Sky.

Re: Paris - Nice '10
Hinault is an Idiot. Seems to be the week of the old men, Merckx said a couple of days ago that Boonen could win Sanremo. Yeah,... right. Chaotic finale today, sprint result is somewhere between odd and worthless. Luis-Leon Sanchez 3rd+time bonus, Vorganov 8th in a "bunch sprint", yeah... right. My ...

That is the first week long stage race without any time trial that I remember. In the last years time trials were a must for races like Dauphine/TdS/...
Looking forward to the fight for time bonuses.
