Re: Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

LaCroix underlines potential Our 23years old special helper Nicolas LaCroix did it again today: at the 70th Giro del Mendrisiotto he could after a great collaboration with Jan Raas and Malte Hakonsen win a breakaway group sprint. By this he was able to show after his great win at Paris-Nîmes - also...

It´s LaCroix, not Delacroix - though I will be thinking back to this group several times in the future I guess, was a great stage!

You know Philippe doesn´t speak German. Could just be he needs some time to pronounciate this word correctly.

Laviniere in crisis: Leader to be dropped

Because of awful training Philippe Laviniere, supposed-to-be-leader for the Giro, Tour and Vuelta, could be sold quicker than he can say Aprikosengelee. At the end of the month deBoer will decide if Philippe has a future in this squad.

Re: Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

Paris-Nîmes Paris-Nîmes is the first important tour for the Wizards 2010. We are very glad to say that it became an interesting 8 days cycling show with many highlights aswell for the fans and our team. We happened to be very successful with 2 stage wins and the team classement. Top 5 and the white...

Thanks for the cool tour. I expected a nice fight for every jersey and it was a good, friendly peloton this time. Congrats to the winners.

The must-buy´s on the transfer market.

When finding riders on the market, post ´em here.

James Greaves, Australia, 24: 64-83-47-48-54, 45 Reg (76 Pavé)

Great helper with enough sprint, pavé and good reg. Young and can still become 70-84 or 65-86. Like you want to train, will be great to have.

Re: Paris - Nice '10

I think Milano San Remo would be too much for a young gun like him... yes, a one day race is something different than the tour, but at Paris - Nice they don´t ride 293km courses either. I think such distances are quite long for an unexperienced rider. Let him ride P-N seems to be good, maybe some se...

Re: Division 1: The fight against relegation

Kinda ridiculous making two threads for quite thesame subject, ha...? Nevermind. Friday next win at the french tour, now finally back in the game to survive Div 1. Mr. Klebt is by now almost catched, 421 points ahead only. Lizards go!

Re: Paris-Nîmes 15h

Okay, today one of the most interesting groups I´ve seen so far. Red still interesting, let´s see what Aerts is able to do the next two days. We have pretty many possible winners for Red aswell as Yellow, where the last word´s not spoken so far.

Re: Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

Frenchman wins - who thought it would be Nicolas? Nicolas LaCroix, flat rider, pavé star, strong climber for a non-classic rider and of course frenchman was today able to win out of a four man group at the 6th stage of Paris - Nîmes. Since yesterday´s words by Allrad it was quite sure the first gro...

3 stages and 3 times podium for Gerard... that´s what I call constant riding. Well today I guess Keyser Söze will have his chances aswell as again a Gerolsteiner-rider. Just in terms of equality I hope FL gets it, very active, many attacks... my plans for today not finished yet, but I guess I´ll be ...

Gotcha! ZL is George Clooney. You know, like... Z=George and L=Clooney... somethin´ like that. Anyways, I guess 95% (to be on topic for once) of all players will understand either sieben, to sieve, split the peloton or anything else you might write. Even though the most beautiful way to say it in En...

So... finally a victory for my team, now not on the div 2 list anymore for at least a day. Down to Allrad I guess everyone can make it to Div 1 for April. Aux, Iban and Gala seem to have no big chance to stay.

Re: Wizards Cycling: De het toenemen Ster van Amsterdam

Kato takes his by far most important victory at Paris - Nîmes! Finally our cameroon hero Kato Wolfsong, classic captain for the Giro, was able to show what he´s got to show. At the third stage of this year´s team highlight No. 1 Paris - Nîmes Kato could attack as the only at a 4% climb on the last ...
