Re: April 2024
According to the PCS calendar (not sure what you use, I found PCS quite reliable (after the UCI site became almost impossible to navigate, maybe it's better again): 07.04. Giro della Città Metropolitana di Reggio Calabria 1.1 Same day as Paris-Roubaix, so if ridden better next day... 21.04. Giro del...

Re: Spring Classics 2024
TRAIN worked. But that certainly wasn't a memorable edition. Or memorable for the wrong reasons. A bit like in 2018, classics didn't try, so my favorite group easily sprints for the win. Beaten by Rosario then, poor Kaniuk, today Chassot won. But Sanremo deserves a better race. People not used to ri...

Re: Spring Classics 2024
Milano-Sanremo coming! But first Milano-Torino. The hills turned out to be too difficult for Lorenzini and the other sprinters. The expected sieb by 123 123 on the first climb, he then kept riding with Boire, that was very well done. Second sieb at the next climb, pure classics group then, that very...

Re: Spring Classics 2024
Milano-Torino, the oldest classic. Of course there was a long break between the first and second edition, still, oldest classic! Has lost and is losing importance. Back to its spring position in the calendar, had been a autumn race from at least the 80es... but probably at some earlier point was whe...

Re: March 2024
Nokere Koerse: This year we ride it with 9 riders... was like that in the preview as well. Of course as category 3 race it should be 8 riders. The rules: Since a few years now we ride cat 4+ races, with 9 riders, cat 2+3 real races with 8. Cat 1 real was with 7 usually, but don't think we actually h...

Re: RSF Classics for the offseason calender
Found something new to propose:
Padre Hurtado - Pudahuel 19.02.24
There's a big danger of an uncontested km 1 group coming through I think, but wasn't in my group, and then it can be a very interesting stage as well.

Re: Editor
Found another thing about the editor: Right now I don't think there's a way for designers to access their old designs, once they have been used. I guess there is one for calendar admins? If not, there definitely should be. But there should also be a way to access old profiles for designers. Would yo...

Re: March 2024
1)The circuit on stage 7 in Catalunya! x times the same lap, should be the same percentages each time around! Not sure if Schartner disagrees or just didnt have the time so far. For consistency, someone could just copy and paste last year's circuit. 2)Strade Bianche: We're probably a few years late...

Madhya Pradesh Cycling Cup http://cycling4freaks.com/radsport/Bilder/profiles/madhya_pradesh_cc.png 177 km, flat, 9 riders, 146 mintact. Mostly very flat, the 2 climbs both have a +6 in them, but with 50km to go after the second one normally flat sprinters should be ok, although some older ones who ...

Re: March 2024
i am against 30km mintact on every race, especially if the stages are in the 180+km range. When I design I indeed do longer than 30km mintact sometimes! So no need to worry about a fix 30 km mintact. But seriously: Long races are the ones that need longer mintact from a gameplay point of view...

Please give suggestions on mintact, climbs etc. when we have all the stages. How about a general minimum of 30km? Stage 1: hilly Distance: 174 km Alto de Sant Grau km 150-155: 2 3 5 6 7 3 mintact km 160(?) Guess my advice will fall on deaf ears! :( Better than 160 are 3 options: 1) 144 (30km) 2) 15...

Damn, February was fast this year, must have been shorter than usual, January finished days ago, now already February! February 16th and last place in D1, 3518 points, 2500 behind 15th place, was only 2000 at the beginning of the month I think. 3 wins Marquez in Bessèges, then Garcia twice in one da...
