Re: Classiques Belges

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh Shouldn't have written anything... Now will have to check? Remember that maybe Holleweg was one where it's different lengths, depending on from where to where exactly, different +/- maybe too, depending what side.... Yep, written in this thread too. So the KBK-DDV is either that dif...

Re: February 2024

If there's changes in the ratings of the Bergs or Kasseien, would be good to post them in the this thread

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=67

(Didn't check if there were changes, just in case, and for the future)

Re: February 2024

I think Tukh designed a few pavé races? Or maybe only planned to design some?

Re: Editor

For stage races: See above, when going on "profile editor" offer 2 choices. If you click on stage race, then you get the profile editor as in a 1 day race (almost, small changes that are logical) and a sub-tab, so one level below where the race editor tab is now, call it "stage race" or something lo...

Re: Editor

Next: Profile editor and race editor For 1 day races, I still fail to see the advantage for it. It's just makes it more complicated, confusing, if you weren't reading here from the start you don't really get why it's 2, clicky, back and forth, but what is the advantage? Disable/delete the "race edit...

Re: February 2024

Sounds like a dumb idea.

Add something, then change it? Possibly? So people might put form on it, and then it turns out to be something different? Put stuff on when it's fix.

Planned the next installment of my series today, but due to time constraint I'll just start my usual arguing for my points. Your answer to point 2: I don't know, if everybody (or even anybody) knows that you can toggle all the parts with the grey buttons on top left (List, Overview, Details). I know...

Re: Editor

2nd post Editor itself, profile again. Now it's calculated by height. If I'm not wrong it used to be by height difference (although it often wasn't perfect either). And there was an option to get what was probably a mix. I think by height as it is now works better, but it's still not perfect. See th...

Re: February 2024

Figueira Champions Classic should be category 2 and 8 riders. cat 1 and 7 riders is really only for real races that are UCI 1.2 (in Europe, in Asia etc some 1.1. definitely might qualify as cat 1 at c4f) This year it will even be 1.Pro, but I'd think cat 2 still fits better than cat 3. And IMO could...

I focus on 3! 3) Disabling helping would still allow you to ride as a team. You still manage your 2, 3, 4 riders. They just can't give your leader energy. "Not often, but it happens" btw basically means there's mostly no team tactics! Disable following maybe should get its own number, I make i...

Sounds right, yes. 2015 wrong category too, so probably not a pavé race. Maybe that year it was earlier or later? 22.? 24.?

Cyclocross

As they are now they make little sense. It really has absolutely NOTHING to do with cyclocross. It's criteriums with pavé, that take way too much time. (IMO criteriums should have mintact only at the last km, they are hectic, fast, mintact from km 1 is the biggest waste of time you can have in a sho...

Cut Yap Island Cup. 11.12.23 Only positive is the name, Yap and Cup, how poetic. But there's a problem with that too, it was called Yap Islands: Colonia Loop originally!!!! So the result in the history are missing too... 05.01.22 the first edition. For the rest it's just a gravel race disguised as p...

Re: Missing Race History? Report here.

Yap Island Cup misses the results of the first editon, 05.01.22. Mostly because the name was different. More importantly: Pavé de Noël. 23.12. History for pavé de Noël doesn't exist, all the pavé races ridden on 23.12. since quite a long time ago should be counted as Pavé de Noël. Name of the race, ...

There's a thread in the calendar section, but to make it easier for Alk/Gipfel to find stuff, let's do one here, and the Donkey writes a new post, will probably end up being almost the same as the one I wrote in the other thread half a year or so ago, but why copy&paste if you can spend time writing...

Re: Suggestions on the new version of RSF

Thanks to version 1.11.0 alphabetical sorting is back. Praise the overlords! Now if we could do this sorting by last name instead of first name, that would be perfect. We had it solved before tbh, but then we introduced those standardized tables (which allows quick creation of tables with filtering...

Re: January 2024

About the starting times: If there are enough managers that would start at a specific time it can be discussed. A bit late now for January. Better to discuss it when the calendar draft is published. 8 is not too weird could be set sometimes. 12/13 are more exotic but happens that some stage races g...

Dez Tour in 2006, Baikal, brrrrrr. Some guy had the idea to ride around Baikal.

Do great Donks-idea, let's start a competition in 2007. Balkan won, forgot the designer. 08 then Eurotour by Rasmussen.

So started as voted in tour in 07, bit I would count 06 as the first Dec Tour. Maybe disputed.

Easy win for Marquez, no wonder, there was no opponent with similar skill. Bad riding by Donkey overall though. Stage 2 pretty horrible, but with Trutat at 100 form I was fixated on that. And had only 99 anyway I figured out at some point, had 100 the next day... All around bad riding by Donkey ther...

Himachal Pradesh Cycling Cup 151 km, hilly, 9 riders, mintact at 120 Start in Parwanoo, basically a long climb to Shimla, in 2 steps. We reach Shimla after 92 and a grand total of 4 siebkm. From there we do 4 different laps around Shimla. 6 further siebkm until the end, 5 of them in the last 30 km, ...
