Re: beta sprint test notes / Sammelthread

Still no further reaction by Buh  You'll find my sprinters and flat-helpers on the market soon as I lost my last hope, something'd be done about the ne sprint-system's shortcomings . Off-topic: As I don't want to change my attitude towards sprinting, I'll change my team, and then let my license...

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

Urgent

Picardie, sunday at 8pm: if anyone wants to give a try at the new sprint system with my team you're welcome.

Just send a pm to me, and you're free to give a shot at it.

Re: beta sprint test notes / Sammelthread

With a 88-92 flat plus sprint of 58 or so you get to the front row of the sprint ... of course, although such riders are not easy to create. But what happens, if you pull your single world-class sprinter up there? Nothing, as you won't get the wheel of the parasite-trains in the crowded massive spri...

Re: beta sprint test notes / Sammelthread

The flat-strength only balances the sprint-strength on the first 50m to some extent. In fact a 7x-sprinter with 6x flat still comes out in front of a 89 with 5x sprint. After those initial 50m the flat-strength is virtually negligible. In a really big massive sprint the sprinters who are being pulle...

Re: beta sprint test notes / Sammelthread

Again my two cents about the new sprint-system: as far as I've seen it, it seems to work quite nice in small groups, where noone can build a train. Fine for me. But, and that is my problem with the new system: it doesn't work in any way with mass-sprints: 1: the flat-strength of the helpers is irrel...

Re: beta sprint test notes / Sammelthread

I must concede this point to Alk. Oversimplification of the IS for me seems to be taking away much of the suspense of the fight for seconds, especially during the grand tours. For one-day-races I don't care, as most groups seem to escape just for the "money on the track". Back to the matter of the n...

Just for notice: Buratino is a figure of baltic (i.e. estonian) and russian literature, in nearly every sense comparable to the famous Pinocchio. Furthermore there is a very popular indigenous estonian lemonade called Buratino. As long as one or the other member of this committee is obviously just t...

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

Whooohaaaa! Now I have a problem ... who shall do the job? Rocking Franco, the "king-instead-of-the-semi-retired-king" or Hansa, jack-of-all-trades? Hansa was first, so I offered him the job ... what does the audience think?

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

2nd try ;)

Sitter needed for Langkawi, 20.00h on the 22nd and 23rd of february. The team's not really bad, but nothing spectacular, just going for the points' jersey with Matthias Silvetta.

PM welcome,

BQ

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

Something like long-term-planning ...

I'll need a sitter for Langkawi in the evening, 22nd and 23rd of February. I hope this is long enough in advance ;-)
Of course it's not for the gc, just for a nice little sprinter-crew.

Thanks in advance,

your water-team!

Re: January 2013

In fact it's not messed up as a whole stage, but the last 3km's should be nearly flat, going down from about 450 to 390 and up to 410mtrs altitude. If I see our road map I get the impression that the distance between Lobethal and Woodside is a mere 1km too long. Given the fact that we go this round ...

Re: Blackboard for team sitting

Bayern-Tour

Yes, the water-team needs a sitter for bavaria. Sunday, 8pm (20h), aim is mass sprint at all cost.
Might be that there is no other sprint-team, but who cares?

Thanks in advance,
BQ

Re: Online und rausgeflogen

Kurz zurück zum Thema der Frage, ob Elf off angezeigt wurde: nein, er wurde soweit mir erinnerlich nicht häufiger als wahrscheinlich zum Kaffeeholen off angezeigt. Unmittelbar bevor er rausflog wurde er on angezeigt. erst bei km 63 kam die Anzeige: 63km off.

Not only chense needs a sitter for saturday ;-) I won't be there at 9pm. The task is easier to handle. Just take my team and force the mass-sprint :-)

I just wish to remind the king that it was Thorsten Silvetta and not the high and mighty Fokke who won the first sprinter's stage of ENECO ;) Seems that the king himself is even worse than his jester.

Re: Du suchst einen Sitter? Versuche es hier!

So, mal im deutschen Forum unterwegs ;) Thorsten Silvetta ans Telefon! Danke!

Re: again a bug in transfer-market?

Thank you all for your answers :) To answer the last first: no, I have more than enough money for once *g* And I think 2.5 mio must have been the price when Moto decided to buy the rider. That should explain, why I gave the highest bid (and could have bought him with the money on my account) but sti...

again a bug in transfer-market?

Call me dumb or just unwilling to read all topics in the forum: I am not sure if it as a bug or if I am just dumb. Can somebody please explain, why I don't get a rider in the youth-market, although my bid was the highest by far? My bid for a youth sprinter (34447) was about 100k higher than the next...
