Re: Blackboard for team sitting
Looking for sitter (Le tour) 20h, f2: I am looking for a sitter watching for my nice little sprinter-team: tuesday, 19th and wednesday, 20th of july. Just to take care of my boys, keeping them in their shape and keeping within 45minutes, and taking as many sprint ponts with Thorsten as possible. Tha...

Tour de France, 20h
This year will see the return of the waterteam to France. I know I'll miss some stages unless I find a decent sitter, but it will still be worth the fun. Lineup by now: 1: Thorsten Silvetta 2: Steve Lelong 3: Gianluca Rivella 4: Charli Carotti 5: Jonathan Windheck 6: Artur Fanta 7: Roman Neubauer 8:...

Re: Blaue Quellen

Re: Blaue Quellen
Say hello to the jester! Omloop der Kempen 2011 - 20.00/8.00pm And he did it again! Guess who? Yes, tiny Thorsten scores again. In pure sprinter's race with a boring layout Thorsten Silvetta showed why he'll be one of the contestants for the "sprinter of the year 2011"-trophy. 01. 00:00:00 Thorsten...

Re: Consulting for clueless managers
An earlier answer than anticipated: Taking Conti to the Giro? Tempting option, but I don't see the mass of sprinters who'll help you to control the peloton, lest forcing the mass sprint. But I may be wrong, as some teams might ride for a 2nd or 3rd place behind Conti. But from me, a clear no-go. Sel...

Re: sprint coincidence
But, why is the system of mali (we don't have a bonus-system anymore) good the way we have it? Just because it is there? And yes, of course one has to adapt to other teams's behaviour. Insofar the example chosen is just a case of "shit happens", if all the sprinter-stars take the risk of a 50m-sprin...

Certainly all the lost guests became a part of the bar. It is a shame nobody archived the old forum, so I can't remember all guys who were there.

Dunkerque 2011 --- 10pm/22h After yesterday's disappointing race, with Thorsten only second behind Zylstra, Silvetta today scored again. Thanks to all the teams who were willing to help, mass sprint was never endangered. Stage 1 1. 00:00:00 Thorsten Silvetta (Blaue Quellen) 2. 00:00:00 Jos Bleekemol...

Re: sprint coincidence
I see no argument in your point, cicli. So, we shall stay with a bad rule just to animate teams with a bad sprinter to work in the peloton? To turn your argument around: right now we use random as a bait for teams with a bad sprinter to work in the peloton? If it is so, then there should be nor more...

Re: sprint coincidence
I am sorry not to share your opinion, master ape, but it happens more often than you might realise. Some sort of random factor is okay, as it is first and foremost a game, but in my opinion there is too much of a random-factor in it. But here we are on different sides: you want the 92 to have a dece...

Re: BSE Marzahn - le roi du sprint
Beating Silvetta once or twice doesn't mean anything This alone won't save the monarchy. But where were the so-called the revolutionaries? Were they alredy incarcerated by your most trustworthy advisor?

Re: sprint coincidence
Of course BSE is right, and I think this was an easily adapted change, if one doesn't want the "big reform". There are still more than enough random-factors in sprint that I'd be glad if we'd reduce at least one of these to make sprint a bit more "calculable".

Will be interesting to see what will happen, when the world's best sprinters collide. But will it be Franco who profits from this, after he called for revolution to overthrow the king? Alexander Perling to end his career Age begins to show with one of the best sprinters of 2010/2011. After a disastrous training, losing sprint- and flat-strength, Alexander Perling will end his career without a special goodbye-race.

Re: Blackboard for team sitting
Just announcing for now ... I guess I'll need a sitter for Alexander Perling and his helpers for Madagascar, 8 pm (20h). Normally not my style, but as I am not sure yet, if I'll need a sitter I'll do the tour anyway. So, sitters are welcome, might it be the princess, the king or the prince ;) Okay, ...
