So a "Johann vonReichenstein" would be ok?

The mistake was that I made a "fake swiss" with a fake swiss name. Obviously the fact "Swiss" was the problem. Most likely there wouldn't have been objections to a guy called "Johann vonReichenstein" with Austrian flag.

IMO it should be okay, to give him Swiss Nationality, as i could at least cite something.... on the other hand I unterstand your point now (partly) ...

Not realistic?! it is a fake character in a tv series. There wasn't a problem with e.g. Erwin Schoitl, Edmund Sackbauer and so on, which are all characters in a tv series (and by the way much better series than this american stuff :-) ). Have to admit though, that these guys are not fake characters....
